This is the newest model of Boresnake called Hoppe's VIPER BORESNAKE! IT has three brass brushes instead of the Old Model which had only ONE! Fast Cleaning and Oiling! Wash Boresnake in warm water and dish soap when dirty ....Air Dry and put back in a Zip Lock Bag! Works Well! I have purchased several of these Viper Boresnakes in different calibers! You Have to TRY ONE!

These things are slicker than snot!! A few squirts of clp or hoppes 9 on the front end, pass it through 3 times and she’s clean as a whistle!!

Awesome .....
Well...most gun cleaners out there will tell you that a Bore Snake is a Bore Snake....but to me personally that really is Not true. Sadly...in the past I have purchased some Bad Snakes before....live & learn. But for years now I have gone with Hoppe's Viper and I have never turned back. These Snakes are really good. Like others they will certainly wear down and you will need to replace it....but I have found the Viper goes a bit further than others and I feel confident that its giving my barrel a pretty good scrubbing in there. I'm a Hoppe's guy with everything and these Snakes have joined my other Hoppe's products. Good Deal...def Reco.

I use bore snakes on all my guns. Works great and durable.

It broke
It broke trying to pull out from my .22lr pistol, I will be returning

Nice bore snake
Excellent product. I would advise that a bore brush and solvent are used before the snake to remove the majority of the deposits. 22 LR rounds leave a lot of residues. The bore snake is a fine finishing touch to bore cleaning.

Cleans well
Just the right think to have at the range to quickly clear any debris in the barbell. Add a little CLP or other cleaning agent to the area in front of the brushes and again after them will take most of the junk out.

Cleans, but brass weight falls off when you use the handle as instructed
Only got to use it once, as the brass weight came off when I tried to use the plastic t- handle. Cannot use again because you need the weight to get the snake through the barrel. I'm returning this and trying another brand.

easy to use. for lazy shooter
very quick and easy to use vs the longer process of the bore stick. No issues using in on rifle or pistols. works well and after 10 'cleans' its doing fine.the connecting parts are good and no issues.
