Quote:"Fox Urine: This horrifically produced product is marketed as a way to keep deer out of gardens, but experts say it doesn't work. On urine-collection 'farms,' foxes, coyotes, raccoons and other animals are crammed into tiny cages. They live on feces-encrusted wire cage floors so their urine can be collected in trays below. On one such 'farm,' PETA investigators found animals with open infected wounds and exposed bones. Most huddled together in fear, but others had gone 'cage-crazy' and circled endlessly, seeking a way to comfort themselves. Some chewed and mutilated their own flesh. Owners then killed them for their fur by using agonizing anal electrocution. Some sporting goods stores sell urine collected from deer crammed into tiny pens for use by hunters to mask their human odor and to lure bucks to the hunters' tree stands. Be a 'deer' - and ask managers of local gardening, department and sporting goods stores NOT to sell bottled urine." ('Ask Carla', PETA's Animal Times)[...](near the bottom of the page)I have also read that where coyotes are bounty-hunted, they are often lured to traps with "passion bait" made of coyote urine. The urine is obtained by stringing live coyotes up by their back legs and wiring their mouths shut. Once the terror and pain has pumped adrenaline into their systems, their bladders are cut out and the strong urine is used as bait to trap more coyotes. (Terri Windling in The Wood Wife)

Fox urine
It's fox urine, so it's not going to smell good. Arrived quickly. I wish it came with more of the little bottles and I wish I knew where to order more dispensers that I can hang. I use this to deter deer and rodents from my garden in conjunction with other methods. It's hard to say whether or not its working. I used this at our old house and it seemed to keep groundhogs away, but I was also able to acquire more of those dispensers.

I think so the woodchuck goes around the shed but he does not go near the house .

Probably doesn't work as a pest repellent, which it is not claimed to do
It did not work for my needs, but in defense of the product, I was not using it for the intended purpose. I was hoping it would encourage squirrels to vacate my attic.

Did not work
I purchased this to negate squirrels from destroying my garden. This had no effect on them what so ever unless you were putting it down fresh every day. Which, who could afford something like that. I just stopped planting corn in my garden after that.

Didn't work at all
I purchased this fox urine with dispensers to try and keep squirrels out of an old house that has been converted into apartments. There are drop ceilings in the bathrooms and that is where the squirrels would hang out. I hung the dispensers with the urine in 3 places where the tenants heard the squirrels and I had found evidence of them. That same night the tenant called saying the squirrels were back in the same spot. I had cleaned out the area when placing the dispensers so I waited a few days before checking and sure enough there were nut shells and droppings in the area I had placed the dispensers. Pretty worthless as far as I am concerned. I would rate it zero stars but you can't!
