Q: When I opened the jar there is wood shavings on the lid and top of the jam. What is it?

Loretta— Never found any wood shavings in any of these jams I purchased. I can’t imagine how they got in there, but I would err on the side of caution and rerun the product, unless, of course, you are a risk take and want to see how flavored wood shavings taste on a toasted English muffin.
