Fly me
Just got this. It's really high quality epp foam. They have reinforced the beak with a clear hard plastic covering and reinforced the rest of the front work 2 strips of clear plastic on either side. This should help immensely. My plan is to convert it to rc for a slope soaring glider. I borrowed the photo of this conversion from another reviewer of the other eagle model which is identical other than coloring. Even as a toy glider the molding and construction and inclusion of a high start launch system is all top quality. You may want to add a couple of strips of scotch tape along the wing fuselage join top and bottom to keep wings from falling off. Please fly away from trees and fencing like a large park or playing field with soft grass and launch into the wind.Edit: 2 weeks later and I have successfully converted it to radio control (elevons). Hats off to Patrick for leading the way! Haven't flown it yet but will update when I do, seems to glide well. Servos are 2 x 3.7 gram. Battery 300mah nimh 4.8 with 4 channel spektrum receiver. I was fortunate enough to pry the 2 body halves apart without cutting. I used 2 carbon fibre strips 3mm in nose canopy area 1 each side to reinforce. Yes even with the manufacturers added plastic the break will break off on first impact!

Not durable
The double stick tape provided for assembly is completely inadequate Flew the glider one time before it came apart. It has since been reassembled with 5 minute epoxy. The glider launches and flies great. Fun for a 4 year old after an adult glues it together.

Expensive piece of styrofoam.
Took this thing out for 1 day with my kid. The 3rd time we flew it, the nose broke off. No biggie. It still flew. Then flew it a couple more times and the whole head broke off. That was pretty much the end of the toy eagle. Ended up just throwing the whole thing away. I guess it would be good if you were just hanging it for a room decoration.

You will need plenty of open space/land
Solid fun. Nose broke off after first flight and it's impossible to reattach (-1 star). This did not appear to effect the overall performance as far as I could tell. Be sure to launch in a big open field away from trees, as the glider will find a way to get stuck in one.

Fun but wings detach too easily
Fun to use but the wings would detach too easily.

Cool, even without the beak.
This product is very cool. My 5 year old son loves it. Unfortunately, the beak broke off when it hit the ground during our first use, but it still flies well.
