Got this on Prime Day for steal and happy with the purchase. It fits perfectly next to my door. You can sit and take off your shoes it feel fine. I'm a 200+ person and plot down when I get home and ity fine. Lol. That said a word of warning when you put it together. Double check your items before you start putting it together. I was going through the steps and only when i got to the other hand rail side did I notice that the holes were drilled in the wrong spot. See pictures. That said the customer service department was super helpful when I called and they sent another package to replace the defective one. They let me know when the item left and provided new tracking. They always responded :) one last complaint and this goes not just at this manufacturer but like all furniture... instructions are only in picture diagrams I hate those things. Really could use SOME kind of text to explain pics. I was able to get it put together no problem, it's really not hard to out together, just the pictures only directions are pain. Overall great purchase just what I needed. Would purchase another and already recommended to my family.

I love this thing. It’s so convenient and really fills up the space in my apartment, however, it’s not sturdy. If you tried putting more than one winter coat on the top hooks it would definitely tip over. It comes with two strap pieces you can use to wrap around the back legs and secure to a the wall behind it, but since I live in an apartment they’re basically useless. I’m sure I can just put something heavy on the bottom wrack, but that’s a problem winter me will have to figure out. For now it’s great for hanging my keys and putting my bag on.EDIT: I’ve had this thing for almost a year now and I LOVE IT. I was concerned about how sturdy it would be when it came to hanging up 2-3 heavy winter coats but it held up! Definitely get this if you’re looking for a renter friendly, dual purpose coat hanger!

Overall:I like the look of the unit. I wish there was one more shelf, or the top bench piece was about a foot higher. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble.InstructionsThe instructions could have been a bit clearer. I wish the packets for the screws and other items were labeled. This doesn't use traditional Philips heads, so I wasn't able to use my powered screwdriver, but a manual driver was provided. It did seem there was a proper left/right piece, even though the instructions didn't mention this, and it seemed like they were interchangeable. I didn't realize this until halfway through, so I had to dis-assemble and then re-assemble it, and it looked better! With the correct left/right pieces, there were fewer gaps in the overall design.Quality:Overall the quality seems pretty good considering the price and the fact it's mass-produced. A custom made piece by a local artisan in my area would have cost me $3,000. I did have a problem where one of the included feet didn't screw into the unit (the screw was defective/stripped). The seller quickly shipped me a replacement. The seller was quick to respond and help me, and that experience is truly what made this a 5-star product.

Don’t let the value price (approx $85 or less with discounts) and assembly needed deter you. I reviewed a lot of coat trees with benches & settled on this for the price, size, and features. Only took 2 hrs to assemble solo. Every piece labeled, down to the various screws/hardware! Good visual/picture instructions, with the exception of the pics being a little small, so I used a magnifying glass for hard to read areas. The wooden bench seat could be thicker & could be braced a little more (might “wobble” a bit if someone is heavy or quickly plops down).Overall: Great Value, Looks Good, and Easy to Assemble!
