Purchased because we wanted natural fibers, something that might hide pet use, and something that had design elements but read as neutral design.Overall very happy with the purchase, but do have some concerns to pass on.The pile loops are very loose, easy to catch on pet claws. Would not advise if you have cats.The size is not 8x10. My 8x10 pad sticks out a few inches on the vertical side and has to be trimmed.The indented diamonds pattern is not as visible in the picture. Most viewpoints miss the pattern and just see a mottled surface. It's a very subtle pattern visually, there's more contrast in the image accompanying the description.

We really like this rug, especially the size which is hard to find. The fibers, however, do shed as there is wool in the rug. I have decided to put up with the shedding as the rug and pattern are nice. Hopefully, the shedding will stop in a few months--hopefully!Update the rug still sheds lightly which is annoying but I like the rug so will live with it.

This is a quality rug that we expect will be around for many years. We love the texture and pattern- much better than is pictured. So far it has been easy to clean and has minimal shedding. We added a thicker pad as the rug itself is not very cushioned.Update 9 months later the rug is holding up well, but does have a tendency to snag if you are not careful!

Looks great . Easy to vacuum . It’s not plush but rather a little rough but not unpleasantly so.I like that it’s not so thin that it’ll scrunch up when you vacuum . It needed to air out a little before use .Satisfied .

The design has a bit more contrast than in the picture, but I actually prefer it. The biggest downside is how much it sheds. Sitting on it instantly made us look like we had been wrestling with dogs. I highly recommend giving it a very thorough vacuum the moment you roll it out.
