Love it. Needed it to help me sit up in bed after hernia surgery. Easy to setup and It doesn't leave a mark on the ceiling when removed.

This is a well-designed, strong, floor-to-ceiling pole with grab bar that can be installed in a room with 7, 8 or 9 ft. flat ceiling. It has a good top end that spreads the force out over an area of ceiling so it isn't likely to crack or damage a drywall ceiling. It would not work on a soft ceiling. It's easy to adjust the location of the pole or move it to a different room. When properly installed it provides a sturdy grab bar to assist in getting into or out of bed, bath or toilet. I may order a second one for the bathroom.

This grab bar was exactly what we needed for my father’s shower. It was easy to mount securely and feels incredibly strong and stable once installed. It gives both him and us peace of mind knowing he has reliable support when getting in and out of the shower. The quality is excellent, and it blends in well with the bathroom. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable safety bar!

Best grab bar ever. It goes from floor to ceiling, can be placed any where. Standard grab bars can’t always be installed due to wall material. And if you should fall, it’s right there to use to pull yourself up, at any height.

it's not suitable for cathedral/angled ceilings (fixed 90° brace). And, may be uncomfortable for tall people, as the handle position is non-adjustable. At 62, and single, my balance (due to Ménière's) isn't what it use to be. And, after a recent long lasting episode with my equilibrium, I'm sure glad I bought,cans installed this, when I did. Despite the parts not being labeled, as indicated in the directions, I found it pretty easy to assemble, and install by myself (I assembled the base, 1tube and the adjustment screw assembly in the bathroom first. Then, assembled the ceiling brace and tubes, then assembled those to the other section). Now, while not a big deal, I feel that the company should set the adjustment screw towards the lower end (for 7 foot ceiling), rather than the higher end. As it took me about 5 minutes to get the screw assembly down low enough, to where the ceiling brace assembly could added. Also, and again, not according to the directions, there is no longer a foam sleeve to "slide up" over the exposed screw assembly. Rather, it's a separately packed, flat piece, that wraps around the screw assembly. But, overall, I found this to be an extremely helpful device when getting into, or out of, the rub/shower. Not to mention, a much cheaper alternative to getting a walk-in shower installed.

I bought this for my 94yo mother after seeing one at her bedside at an assisted living facility. Now she has this at home and she uses it to help her get out of bed, stand and maneuver to sit in her wheel chair-all on her own, without assistance. Use of this reduces her fear of falling. She can move around the house in the chair and uses the pole to move from the chair back to her bed. Great product. Helps build her confidence and independence. Highly recommended. Extremely easy to install.

I bought this for my dad after he had a stroke to help him get out of his recliner chair and stand to transfer to his wheel chair. He also uses it for his therapy sessions. His room has a 10 ft ceiling so I had to contact the manufacturer to buy a longer section to reach the ceiling for a secure support. The original parts were about 2 inches too short. The steel poll sections are very strong and the H section at the top has rubber covers on the ends for grip and provide a firm broad base to hold everything in place. The top H also has screws to secure it to the rafters in the ceiling. The floor section has a rubber gasket that grips the floor or carpet to prevent it from sliding. The center has a large threaded section to tighten the poll assembly between the ceiling and the floor. A wrench is included. It is very rigid and secure. The Wonder Pole Lite has given my dad a new sense of freedom now that he can securely pull himself up without the fear of falling. I highly recommend this product for anyone that has balance or mobility problems. The nurses alway tease him about having a dance poll in his room and he replies the he just wants to be prepared in case someone comes by.

Easy setup and very safe addition to my bathroom.

Assembles easily with well marked parts. But getting the Part "A" up means stacking it on 2 Part "B" and lifting all that weight up while manoeuvring the bottom assembly in place. I got it done, but it really is a 2 person job I think that it's important that it's installed level in all directions, so buy or borrow a level. It's also important to know that the flares on the pieces will slide down a little, which will make it a little looser. I tightened up the bolt after a few hours and will tighten it up again tomorrow morning Once installed, it's going to take any weight I put on it. Very, very sturdy

No issues, Easy to assemble and set up. Remains sturdy and has never shifted. A little pricey but worth it for the safety and feeling of security it provides.
