Bulldog Cases Tactical Shotgun Case

Bought the 42 inch, fits my Remington 870 Express 18" well WITH side saddle and side mounted Surefire light. Lots of room for it. Quality seems good.

I was concerned this would be a cheap, flimsy case, but it's padded with nice thick foam, the material looks to be nice & heavy, and the zippers feel sturdy. I read in another review that the two outer pockets hold a dozen shells, and not only so they but there are elastic shell holders in them to keep the shells upright! My mossberg persuader with a 20" barrel fits in this case perfectly!

Great case for my Shockwave with added accessories of remote switched light, a crimson Trace laser, and sidesaddle shell carrier! Very well made with generous padding,and a quality zipper. Shell loops in pockets will hold 12 shells with plenty of room for other small items. Made in China, but could not find a USA made case that would work. Very happy with this purchase, and would not hesitate to order any Bulldog product in the future !!!

If you are looking for a compact case for you AR15 Carbine, this could be it. Just received today, had some concerns about the interior size, but it fit my AR15 with CAR stock collapsed, with a little room to spare. I have to remove the 30 round clip, but with clip removed their is plenty of room to leave Red Dot sight in place (on A3 upper). Clip can stay inside case with AR, or fits nicely into on of the exterior pockets. Would be nice if there were some straps in-side to hold clip in place. At this time it is free floating and I suppose it could more around and ding a few things.Turns out to be just the right case for my need.

Good 42in. soft case for the price. There were a few hanging threads that needed trimming. Perfect fit for a Henry .22 rifle with 20 inch barrel. The overall rifle length is 38.5 inches. Each pocket can hold 3 of the plastic 100 count boxes easily.

Perfect for a shotgun with folding stock or pistol grip. Seems well made and does exactly what It's supposed to do. The pouches on the outside are handy, as well. It holds my Remington 870 with Hogue pistol grip, perfectly! Also, plenty of room for my 56 shell bandolier. With my sling, bandolier and the outside pockets, that's 96 shells.There is one zipper, it feels pretty heavy it opens and closes easily. The outside shell pockets are held closed by Velcro and each has bands for 6 shells plus room for more.I really don't think you can beat it for the price and features.

Not sure about that whole easy lock, unless I am missing something here, it is a case that fits an SBS quite nicely but as far as being nondescript, I guess it could be considered anything in a 35" case. It has the two pockets and loops for extra 12G ammo but I run a side saddle with four rounds in the tube rather than five in case I feel the need for a slug on the first shot rather than the 00 Buck I pull one from the side saddle. In a perfect world, the zipper would be able to be ripped open with two tabs going the opposite directions to be able to access the weapon quicker but if you are just using it as a range bag you will be fine. ( To clarify with a dual-tabbed zipper you have them meet in a corner of the bad, when needing the weapon quickly you grasp the bag and pull opposite directions and the zippers will un zip in opposite directions allowing quicker access to the weapon) On the 1187 If you are running an extended bolt charging handle you can either leave it on, which will wear the fabric down faster due to the pressure point on the case or you can pull the charging handle and put it in your case pocket or your pants pocket, which is nice if you want a bit of extra security on the weapon and who can have access to using it.

Pros-Durable outer shell (soft case).-Perfect fit for my gun.-Shorter than most hard cases.-Taller than most soft cases.-Extra storage pouches on the side.-Low profile gun case-Zipper zips smooth.-Light weight.-Comfortable handles.-I can fit both my Mossy 500 and .22lr Marlin Rifle at the same time with padding I added.Cons-Won't fit shotguns with 20inch barrels unless the butt stock has been modified.-To ship they folded it in half and now the padding in the middle is not as ridged as the rest.-No hooks for a shoulder sling-Only one zipper-Small storage bags (only holds 12 shells, won't fit a long scope)-Non lockableThings I expected/could improve-Storage bags should hold more.-Double zipper with holes for a lock would be nice.-More durable padding inside.-Extra pockets inside.-No pull on zipper.Conclusion- All in all this is a very nice bag for the price. I like it more than most soft cases. I don't regret buying it at all. I cut 2 inches off the butt stock to fit my size better but at the length this gun comes new it would not fit (so if you have an unaltered Mossberg Persuader or similar with the original butt stock and 20inch barrel your gun may not fit in this bag). This bag is better than most soft cases for my needs. I can fit my Mossberg 500 in without taking off the sights or flashlight. After receiving this I now wish I had gotten the Plano Pillared Single Scoped Gun Case for $2 less. The reason I chose this one is because it is 11 inches shorter, however, the features are not exactly what I expected. The description on Amazon was not detailed so I search the net for more info using the model number and this is very different than what I found on other sites.

It fits my stoeger Condor o/u with a 28" barrel. Wish it had a tie to stop the stock from hitting the barrel, i just used a small amount of padding.

Not badly made. Very simple. Carries my 590A1 without an optic but with a sling perfectly. Has an 18.5" barrel.

I have the 42". It appears to be well built. The padding and zipper are good. The two patch pockets are well done.

It fits for a M4 airsoft gun with attachments but a little tight. Would buy again.
