I have two of these tops, in “slate” colour, so I thought I should leave a review.If you’re ordering these, keep in mind that they are intended to be a boxy fit. That means they’re not intended to cling to you anywhere. If you want a fitted look, either order a couple of sizes smaller, or maybe choose another style. I chose XL, and I’m a size 16 top, thanks to my size F bust. I could possibly have got away with an L, but I prefer tops which cover the wobbly bits, so XL is fine for me. I’m slightly taller than average at about 5ft 8 (Depending on whose tape measure we’re using!) and this was a good length for me.The fabric is Lyocell. It’s not cotton, and it doesn’t pretend to be. Lyocell is apparently made from woven bamboo fibres. I found it slightly less cool than cotton tops of a similar style, but it was still light and breezy on an unseasonably warm 28C spring day. I wouldn’t say it made me any sweatier than a cotton top. If you’re considering the slate colour, I’d say it’s more of a sea foam/light turquoise shade than the grey colour which the name “slate” suggests, so don’t be put off.Bearing in mind that this is a lightweight top, I would recommend that ladies wear a T shirt bra underneath it. The slightest hem line or lace protrudes through the fabric very noticeably. At the risk of getting a telling off for being too graphic for the censors, on a cold day, your chest’s extremities would certainly be very visible! I tried wearing this with a crop top underneath, and quickly noticed there would be a problem ;)It’s very versatile and easy to dress up for work, or just chuck on with a pair of jeans. It’s certainly a nicer alternative to a regular T shirt.It washes and dries well. I chucked mine in the usual 30C wash with my normal laundry detergent, and dried it on the washing line. It dried pretty quickly, and with minimal creasing. I tried to get the remaining creases to drop out by leaving it on a hanger in the steamy bathroom, but that didn’t work, so if you want it immaculately flat, you will need to iron it. If a few light creases don’t bother you, you’ll be fine with it. There is a little bit of bobbling visible if you look hard. I’ve never owned anything Lyocell before, so I’m not sure if this is normal.When I picked this top up, it was just under £6, which was about half the price of pretty much every other colour going. I’m not sure it’s worth much more than £10 if you compare it to some of the similar tops on offer at the supermarkets or on the high street, but for the price I paid, I’m happy. If I could get the other colours at this price, I certainly would.

I'm an 8 in tops and I bought a small; I think it's about right for the style of the garment, it's quite loose but I don't think I'd want it tighter personally, but I think XS would still have been okay, but it's a very fine drapey material, although it does have a bit of weight to it, I really think it looks best very loose because of the material; if you've ever read any of my other reviews, I don't wear a 'proper' bra, just a Sloggi pull on bra or something similar and with this particular type of material, there is danger of nip fest happening, which could ground a plane, so there is less risk of that if the garment is loose. The cut is a boxy shape which lends itself to a casual drape anyway, and is definitely good for warmer weather, probably ok for the gym too. UPDATE: As of writing this it says in the header 'pack of 3'. It's not you only get one; I've ordered twice now and only got one per order. I have reported this, so they might change it.

Was hoping this would drape well and disguise my rolls of fat but it simply wraps my spare tyres in a lovely shade of blue. I've put it aside in the hope it'll encourage me to diet and so can'y offer opinion on wearability or laundering yet

Off white - not bright white. Roomy, which is what I wanted. I am an 18 and got the xl and it's a perfect fit. Ideal under a cardigan or lightweight jacket for when I get back to my office to work.

I have these tops in slate & laurel. Both are versatile colours that will go with everything but the laurel is a particularly lovely shade, even nicer than the photos. I am a fan of lyocell, it hangs beautifully & it’s light & cool to wear. The fit is relaxed, I’m a size 8/10 & I bought small (on the advice of another review) & they’re a perfect fit, quite loose but that’s what I wanted. Overall, they’re well priced & I’m very pleased with my purchases!
