These strings are great, they last a lot longer than Elixirs
These strings are great, they last a lot longer than Elixirs, at least for my somewhat aggressive flatpicking style, which can be hard on the coatings, and they sound and feel closer to regular non-coated strings - so much so that it can come as a bit of a surprise. I am using these on both my Gibson songwriter and my Taylor 814ce. So far I like them better on the Gibson which I tend to flatpick more often, still not sure how I like them on the Taylor which I tend to play more fingerstyle on. They work and sound great of course, but they do sound quite different to elixirs and for some folks it may take some getting used to after years of using elixirs exclusively.

very nice tone.
i usually use these on my electric guitar and there great , i didn't think about ever trying to use them on acoustic but i thought id give them a try, well i first i thought they were a little bright sounding compared to adarios, they also felt a little thinner then 10"s, but the more i played them the sound seem to bring in a nice tone after the strings settled in, very nice i think im gonna run with these for awhile and see how long they hold together as far as tone, great handling, nice and smooth moving up and down the neck. id give them a true run before really jugging them but for right now i think there fantastic.

Great sounding strings, very well matched to a maple guitar.
I just threw a set of 13s on a '76 Guild F50. Can't tell they're coated in feel or sound, they're fairly bassy and they're not overly bright making them a perfect match for a maple guitar. Also, did I mention that they are LOUD? Because these strings are much louder than the old strings (granted they were old, but I've never heard anywhere close to this level of volume increase with a new set). Given my impressions on maple, they might not be my first choice for a rosewood Martin for example although I'm not saying not to try it either. How long they last or refrain from flaking is to be seen, but my initial impression is great! I will come back and update my review should I have any of the above later.

Great Strings although a bit pricey
This is my second purchase of these strings and the first time I purchased them from Amazon. I'd give them 5 stars, but compared to other premium strings they're a bit pricey. As far as quality goes though, these are top notch strings. While the type of strings are very much a matter of preference for practically all musician's, I can say that these strings have a couple of good qualities. They produce as billed, a bright, loud and clear tone, that lasts a long time compared to other premium strings. I found that these kept their tone and brightness a bit longer to my old brand, and did not drop off in sound quality for quite a while. While I never experienced "flakes" with the other coated strings I used regularly, I had no problems with corrosion with these Cleartone strings. I do enjoy the louder and crisper sounds that these strings produce, even enough to pay about 1.5 times the price of my old brand. I guess the proof of how much I like these strings is explained by the fact that while I still have another new set of my old branded strings, I waited until I received these that I ordered from Amazon before I changed my old pair.

Great strings. Listed wrong on Amazon.
I really like the strings. Plus, I have a friend that plays in bands a lot and he aimed me at them. He loves them and says they're better than any other coated/treated string. I'm mostly just writing this review to give warning about the Amazon listing. Currently, the product photo shows .012 to .054 and the main title at the top of the webpage says "Light Gauge." If you scroll down though, the "Item model number" is different. It says ".011 to .052 Custom Light/7411." When you order that is the weight you'll receive. The package I got was model 7411 and is labled "extra light." The third party dealer said he had another package that was also 7411 and they were "custom light." Anyway, these are NOT lights. They're extra lights. They are not what is pictured or listed in the main title.

Nice high note tones
I’m a beginner, but love the sound of these strings. They are well made and I’d buy them again.

wonderful sound
I've been using Cleartone 80/20 guitar strings for years. They really hold up well and truly sound like uncoated strings. I just tried their phosphor/bronze strings on my 1955 Martin D18 and I will be buying these from now on. I absolutely love the sound. Old D18's tend to be very bright, which I like, but these strings mellow the sound a little and seem to draw out the bass notes to match the beautiful trebles giving a better balanced overall sound.

Excellent
These strings are SUPERB, so far. I put them on a few days ago, so I can't speak for their longevity yet. The sound producted by these strings are heavenly. I have a Martin acoustic and I previously had earthtone strings installed. The earthtones sounded amazing new, but flattened out after just about 2 months of playing everyday. The Cleartones sound even better freshly installed. The gauges are perfect for my playing. They are expensive, but if you have a high end acoustic like I do, do yourself a favor and get these!

Sonido seco , a latón, sin graves, y lo peor de todo que se me a roto una cuerda sin terminar de afinar en Re, que seria si la dejo en Mi.

Sounds amazing. Worth the price for me, I had to try several different strings before figuring this was the OG. No other strings compared, I loved the OG but had to replace it as it got old. Never looking for another string! I swear by this. 5/5
