Great for protection when SUPing near reef; the only real offering I could find for SUP.
My favorite for SUP is south shore Oahu near very reefy area when "kicking out". When overhead plus surf, late "kick-out" may allow surge to push one over reef and follow-on wave can smash you - like shore break - against "bottom" (reef crowns). Excellent that vest is snug fitting (I made sure I had right size - XL - after consulting with company who replied promptly.) Vest, thankfully, is not bulky, not flotation device and should prevent back cuts and scratches that I got on my last outing on a big day.
