The OEM was also a 42Wh battery. This comes with 2 magnetic tipped screwdrivers, which were very handy in handling the small screws in the laptop. It comes with instructions, but I went to the Dell site and watched their instructional video. For those that are not so tech savvy and wondering if they can change out their batteries, I would say most can. This was not extremely difficult to do, and this replacement battery fit perfectly. It does NOT come with any battery cables/connectors, so keep this in mind that you need your existing connectors. I liked that this charged up quickly and showed a strong charge with a long-lasting charge according to my PC readout. Made in China, but so was the OEM battery.

This was an easy one to install and it has been working just fine so far. I have been testing this battery and it can easily last for more than 2 hours based on how bright your screen is. Overall, I am happy with it.

I had a Dell laptop that I hadn't used in a couple years. When I turned it on, I couldn't do some updates because they needed a minimum of 40% battery charge. As it turned out, the battery wouldn't charge at all. Upon opening the laptop case, I could see two of the three cells had started to swell. That explains why the battery works no longer charge. I purchased this battery. I was an exact replacement for a original battery. The swap out was easy. This battery appears to work perfectly, and I was able for complete the updates

Does not fit Dell Inspiron 7573. The battery footprint is the same, but on closer observation the tabs for the screws are not in the same vertical position (barely noticeable). When the battery is installed, it pushes against the back of the trackpad, so that it no longer clicks, though tapping still works. Returned. I ordered the battery from Dell. it was more but a perfect fit.
