I have a non-PoE WiFi system at a vacation home. I wanted to add an outdoor wifi extender that uses PoE. I decided to use this PoE injector with an outdoor-rated ethernet cable to power the unit, rather than run new electrical lines. It works great! Now I have sufficient power for the extender, and great WiFi, on the property away from the base system. As a matter of fact , it works so well that I have purchased a second one to use at home so that I can have a reliable signal further away from the house.

I got this to use with a PoE security camera that is hooked up to an NVR. This one particular camera has been giving me a lot of issues where it disconnects and often needs to be power cycles numerous times before it will be detected correctly. Because of its distance from the NVR and the age of both pieces of equipment, I suspected that it might not be receiving enough power. So, I connected this PoE injector between the NVR and the camera and it powered on and connected correctly in the first try. I think this is a sign that it has done exactly what I needed. Time will tell if the camera continues working so well. I picked this one because of the low price but it does have the disadvantage of only supplying a single PoE port. I think for many applications it would be advantageous to get a PoE injector that supports multiple ports.

Product seems to work fine, am using it to power a Ubiquity UniFi 6. Only complaint is this product description says it’s 10/100/1000 mbit but the pamphlet included in the box says it’s only 10/100mbit, which is confusing. It’s a simple product with a simple pamphlet insert, this should be easy to get right.

Using these with Ubiquiti G5 & G6 and Flex cameras, as well as no name ONVIF cameras using a splitter. I have several, always work.

We purchased a Tongveo PTZ IP camera that supports POE, but little to no information was given on the requirements. I tried using an existing injector that I already owned meant for access points, but it would not power the camera. I purchased this injector, hoping it would have enough power. It adapter powers it over the RJ45 ethernet perfectly.

Works as promised right out of the box; a simple solution. Good purchase; I would definitely buy another if needed.

Works as intended with a Netgear access point.

The POE injector did not work on arrival, it was flashing green and orange instead of a solid orange as supposed to. I had to return it.
