Cute clock. Better made than other analogue clocks. I love the vintage look You can easily set an alarm. And it has a snooze feature. Battery operated. Fits nicely on some books on my floating shelf. Looks good in a book case too or bedside table. You can see the numbers but there is no light on clock for seeing numbers at night. The is no noticeable “ticking” sounds. Quiet.

Arrived on time in great condition. Just install one AA battery, set time, and it works. Keeps correct time. It is lovely, looks somewhat vintage without being too "fancy." Totally non-ticking! Large scale numerals allow you to place it anywhere in the room and still read it. I have not yet tried the alarm function. I highly recommend.

Looks great, keeps great time. The alarm can be annoying: you need to wait until after the "hour slot" where you want it and then set it for the next day. In other words, if you want to wake at 8:30 tomorrow morning, you need to wait until after 9:00pm the night before to set the alarm, otherwise the alarm will sound. If you want to wake at 7:00am, then wait until after 8:00pm the night before to set it. (If you wait until 7:05pm the night before or anytime before 8:00pm, the alarm will sound.) So it's not ideal for an alarm clock but does work. My other quibble is that it's unstable, so you might want to have it leaning against a wall or book. But it's a great looking clock and seems high quality for the price.

I’m very happy with this clock. It’s a nice size for bedside, or across a small room (which is how I’ll be using it). The numbers are easily readable. I like he fact that it requires one AA battery instead of two, as with some of the other clocks I considered. The clock has a nice weight to it. Doesn’t feel cheap, although the entire back of the clock, including the door which conceals the battery are all made of plastic. I would purchase this clock again, and I feel it’s suitable for gifting as well.

works and is silent

This clock had the perfect look for the countertop in my husband's bathroom and we liked it at first. But after a few weeks, it would start losing time. We changed the batteries, and it worked perfectly for two weeks, it started losing time again. Bought a brand new package of batteries even though the batteries we used were new, unexpired and tested as good with lots of power using our battery tester. The new batteries worked... until about two weeks later, when it started losing time again. Thought perhaps the bathroom might have too much humidity so we put in new batteries again and put it in our family room. Again, in two weeks it started losing time again. We finally decided that this clock eats up all the energy in batteries within two weeks time. Do NOT buy! Update: I read the product description since I bought it, and it now says to buy CARBON Batteries, which it did NOT mention when I bought this piece of junk. Well guess what? I just bought a package of carbon batteries and it loses time even faster. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY!!!

Love this table clock, especially the large numbers on it. Very happy with my purchase.

I have loads of these small clocks inevitably made in China. Their second hands jump from one second to the next. The second hand on this clock sweeps smoothly, like the second hand of a genuine Rolex watch or a large wall-mounted Seiko. As for aesthetics, it is for the buyer to judge.
