Owo *whats this*: A Guide to the Furry Fandom Kindle Edition

Avery has managed to capture the essence of furry in this easy to read guide. The best book I have read this year about furries. Would make gift for any occasion. It has a permanent home on my coffee table. I am a disappointment to my family. OuOb

Its 38 pages but HUGE font size, so a lot smaller (and a good chunk of filler) and some poor formatting, that makes it difficult to follow if your new (its for new people)Does not go into the Furry sub-culture or history.really only talks a bit about fur suits (part of the fandom) and buying art (kinda basic)As a sub-culture (like goths or punks) it will vary greatly on area a person lives,and changes over time, things the book does not acknowledge.Furry Fandom seems to have started in the early 80's with comics. Creators wanted to tell serious stories with animal characters and it clicked for a lot of people.the book book does not talk about convention or give any resources (like web sites)Save the 10 dollars and watch things on youtube and or buy a copy of Furry Nation: The True Story of America's Most Misunderstood Subculture

Someone decided to self publish a collection of hot garbage for "teh lulz" and some easy monetization of a few buzzwords. No content in this book was actually made by the author.Grabbed during it's run on Kindle Unlimited and I swear it's not even worth FREE. Don't give this person a penny. Do a Google search instead.Also, even talking about your after dark defeats the intended "Safe for work only!!!" BECAUSE YOU NOW BROUGHT THE ELEPHANT INTO THE ROOM.Furries as a whole are dense and lack nuance, but this "author" really does damage in how little thought they put into their quick money grab. Chuck Tingle puts more effort into his farts than this person puts into their basic comprehension.

My dad burned this book when I showed him I got banned from the internet for a week and he left. 5 stars for making my dad leave.

Although it's a good effort the book leans more to those who haven't a clue about the furry fandom. It does give basic information on such things such as art and fursuits. But frankly there are videos on YouTube that go into more details. Like a said furry fandom newbies only will benefit from this book.

This "guide" is not anything more than a one-sided classic watch one hand while the other does the dirty work book. Too much hiding of the REAL dealings that need known for parents to have a real idea what their children are getting into. It's just as any other fandom, it's full of all types including those who create the stereotype of "animal sex" which seems too taboo to admit. People need to know the truth about the fandom, not the sugarcoated glamour that is always shoved to the front. Furry involves adult acts and no one bothers to ask ages for their room parties when they have available alcohol and orgies. If you really think this book as a true guide then you need to actually dig into the furry fandom and not be afraid to see what is hidden on "the dark web"

It details all the important information from the fandom. Definitely worth buying regardless of which level of Dante's Furry Hell you're in.

Good book had a laugh reading it and it was actually very informative for my friend who had no idea what a furry was haha OwO

Bought this because too understand the furry community

Overall i would say that the book is very good as an introduction for somebody who has never heard of the furry fandom before as it talks about all the simple topics. However the only thing I feel was slightly overlooked is the fact that if youre a parent then you might not understand some of the internet language used (e.g. tbh)Other than that great book considering you've never written one before :3
