This item is great quality for the price. It's very beautiful with an intricate pattern, rich color, and the stitching is well made. The paper inside is firm and reminds me of books I used to get in India at a young age. The journal is very sturdy and has a lovely texture, and the latch works perfectly. I'm impressed at the quality considering the very low price.

The image they used is so cute I forgot to look thru the negative reviews first and am extremely disappointed. The dye they used doesn’t look great and is no where near as vibrant as it looks in the picture. They didn’t even bother to dye the entire book, so on the parts where string covers the book, there’s spots that are undyed, and the strings on the inside of the book are hardly dyed at all. The lining on the inside of the journal looks like it was hastily put in the journal cos there’s a big crease in it. The metal part where the lock goes isn’t lined up well at all. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the key bent when unlocking because they feel so fragile. All in all it’s just not a great journal and not at all worth the money. I’ve also ready that ppl have dye all over their hands with using so just more bs they couldn’t bother to do quality control with.

I loved it so much, I bought another one! I am a kind of "journal connoisseur", and this was a very very nice one. The paper is perfect to write on, meaning not too fiber-y. I have bought them in the past where the handmade paper was more akin to a paper towel than something to write or draw on. I didn't hesitate about ordering another one. They are also well made and very sturdy and comes with a nice little lock and two keys. A tremendous buy for the modest price.

It's exactly what I expected. Fair warning: the dye for the cover does come off on my hands, so I've been using a lap desk while writing in it instead of holding it.

It's a great color, has a lock with 2 keys, has some slight imperfections which give it a vintagy look. I am very pleased with it, especially for the price. My only criticism is that when you close it, it's not completely flat, like there's an excess of the leather. Also the metal is slightly tarnished on the latch which does not bother me.

It's nice - sort of antique looking. I like that it locks and there are two keys. I wish the lock was a little bigger, but overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Poor quality pages, some of the pages were stained with dirt and damaged on the edges, it’s not the same colour blue as shown in pictures. It’s way lighter and more green. It just feel very cheap and for that price tag I was expecting better quality. I’m not really happy with my purchase. It also smells strange I can’t really pinpoint what the smell is though. It’s like a mixture of plastic and something organic. The smell gives me a headache.
