We craft our mat cleaners from all natural ingredients. Free of synthetic chemicals, artificial colors, fragrances, parabens, alcohol, and detergents. 100% safe and non-toxic for mats, props, and sensitive skin. Soap and water alone will not kill bacteria and fungi. That's why we infuse all natural castile soap with tea tree essential oil, one of the most powerful oils that fights all types of fungus, bacteria, viruses, and mold - naturally. Our cleaner evaporates quickly, leaves no slippery residue, and does not compromise the integrity or your mat. It's been used on thousands of mats and props with consistently positive results.

Best Yoga Mat Cleaner
I will never use another product again. Thank you, Asutra! You've outdone yourself!***EDIT (9/17/16***I recently did a lab for my BIO 111 (Microbes in Modern Society) class. It entailed that I take 15 samples from my environment and swab them onto agar plates. One of the samples I chose was my yoga mat. I have been using this cleaner exclusively and wanted to see how well it really worked. Even though I chose to take the sample after a workout, from a "dirty" mat, the results showed that Asutra works long after the initial cleaning. After 3 days, the petri dish showed little to no change. Nothing grew in it.This yoga mat cleaner WORKS!

I couldn't decide so I tried all 6.
I had been using Manduka's mat wash, but the idea of using something more natural appealed to me. I purchased the 6 bottle deal because it was the best value, and I wanted to try a few scents. Although not all of the scents deserve a 5 star rating (in my opinion), their cleaning ability, natural ingredients, and the included microfiber towel make up for a couple of misses in the fragrances.Obviously, the appeal of a scent is very subjective, but this is what worked for me and what did not.5 Stars: Soothing Sweet RoseI normally hate floral scents. In fact perfume gives me migraines. This has none of the typical cloying smells that are generally found in floral-scented products. The rose smells like what you would find in a garden, not on a store shelf. The scent is not overpowering, but it is strong enough to be enjoyed while using the mat. This quickly became my favorite out of all of the bottles, and I wish I could buy just this scent in a 6 pack.5 Stars: Energizing PeppermintThis is a close second to the rose scent. It is refreshing but not overwhelming; in fact, the scent is fairly faint, even while being applied. It is just enough to notice during savasana.4 Stars: Uplifting EucalyptusI HATED this scent when I first tried it. My first thought was that I had just coated my mat with the equivalent of Vicks VapoRub. I was wondering how to get the stench off of the mat before I began my practice, and the only positive I could come up with was that it might be nice if I used it when I had a cold. Surprisingly, once it dried, the scent was really pleasant. The medicine smell dissipated, and what was left was enjoyable even through extended Child's Pose.1 Star: Calming CitrusThis was one of the scents that I expected to like the most, and the scent literally made me feel nauseous. It smelled like I had doused my mat in 409. Despite the natural ingredients (and yes, I double checked that nothing artificial had been slipped into this bottle), it was overpowering and artificial smelling. I think this could be salvaged with the addition of a ginger scent, but as it is, it is unbearable.I didn't try the lavender since I purchased that for my daughter, but it seems like enough other reviews have covered that anyway. I haven't tried the unscented either since I enjoy the other scents too much to take a break from them for now.

Makes mat very slippery. Don't waste your money.
Been practicing yoga for 15 years. No pro but this is an honest review of my experience. After spraying it on my mat, I let it dry and thought everything was ok. Mat seemed normal. Next day I go into my hot yoga class... mat gets wet from my sweat and becomes very slippery from the oils in the spray. Not slippery from my sweat... i've felt that before. This was extremely slippery. I had to take my mat into the shower and ring it out thoroughly. It was like a wash cloth that you put soap in and try to ring it out, and out, and out, but the suds are resilient. The residue from this spray may have now made my mat useless. and this was a brand new very expensive mat. i'm really upset with this product.

Gets all the invisible gunk out!
I used this product to clean my yoga mat for the first time and OH MY. I am pretty grossed out with how many times I had my face on my yoga mat without cleaning it between uses. The bottle has directions for "Clean in Minutes," and "Deeper Cleaning," and I went with the "deeper cleaning," which states to liberally spray surface of mat and let stand for 2 minutes, then scrub down with a damp clean cloth. As you can see in the picture, I decided to use my own white towel to clean it because it would be easier to see how much dirt was lifted off, compared to the blue cloth that comes with the purchase. And WOWZERS, I was so unaware of how much dirt was on my yoga mat. I will definitely be using this spray in between each use!I was also pleased with the lavender scent on the yoga mat because it was faint enough that it isn't overpowering. The only complaint I have is the blue cloth it comes with. It feels like a good material, but it was sort of hard to use for the "scrubbing" portion of the "deeper cleaning." The directions say to use a clean (not damp) cloth to wipe after scrubbing with a damp cloth, so I used the blue cloth for that instead.

Perfect mat cleaner for our yoga studio
We researched & tried many yoga mat sprays before choosing Asutra for our yoga studio. We set the bar high as we wanted one that was not just a great disinfecting cleaner but also natural, organic, safe, and not an over bearing scent. We actually bought 3 different cleaners and tested them on yoga mats and then had 6 students pick the one they thought felt the best and smelled the best -- 5 out of the 6 chose the mat cleaned with Asutra! It passed our little yogi test - we recommended this product!
