Seiko Original Rubber Curved Line Watch Band 22mm Divers Model and Genuine Seiko Spring Bars

I have looked closely at this band and it appears to be a genuine Seiko band. The band was in a plastic slip that says, SEIKO, 4FY8JZ, BAND CHINA. I know that Japan now manufactures products in China so I don't think that it is a problem that the band is made in China instead of Japan. Also, in the package are the "fat pins" that are larger in diameter to fit the band exactly but you can use your original pins if you want. The band is a little stiff but I know it will soften after wear. I'm not sure why it's called "curved line" unless it means the "waves" on the band. Looking closely at the band edgewise, it appears to be bonded two layers with a smoother layer on top and a stronger looking plastic on the bottom layer. This appears to be genuine design.

What are the chances you could find the exact watchband for a Seiko diver watch that I bought in 1977. The watch set unused in a drawer for over 30 years and the band had self-destructed due to exposure to the elements. Its a perfect replacement, it even has the same logo That thats on the back of the watch. Thank you!

This band has become a MADE IN CHINA, which dramatically reduced the quality. IT DOESN'T LOOK THE SAME, it doesn't feel the same. Frankly, I feel deceived. I would never ever buy a made in China "Seiko" (or any other made in China products).

A little stiff, but they work and hold up as well as expected. Due to the weight of the watch and the abuse I put it through, I get about 2 years out of these. Maybe three. Either way, they are more comfortable than the metal options.

Seiko bracelets and straps are notorious for not matching their watches in quality, and unfortunately this strap lives up to that. The rubber is a little stiff, but that didn't bother me. However, after about a year and a half of wear the buckle guard popped off, and wouldn't give back on. I will probably be replacing it with a strap from Uncle Strap(formerly Uncle Seiko)

Seems to be genuine and came with genuine replacement pins though I just reused the ones from the original bracelet since they are loose after removing it from the watch. Nice to have some spares if needed. I wish that the strap was offered in a short version with a fourth ripple since it is unlikely I’ll ever use it with a dive suit. The rubber seems of high quality. Kind of wish it were offered in a softer silicon version. Comfortable to wear as is though. Looks very good. Fantastic value at about $25. Local shop wanted nearly $60
