Holds arrow like a biscuit but no contact with fletching and arrow can be seen for sighting.
Rest is easily adjustable and allows full view of arrow for sighting. Little to no contact with fletching or vanes.

Getting tested on a bow that will prove this rest is what I think it is .....
I bought this as an inexpensive rest for my Daughter's Mathews Genesis. This rest will not go to the right far enough to establish an accurate center shot. Instead of shimming it, I put an original CAP Whisker Biscuit on her bow. So, looking at this rest VERY carefully I noticed a few things since I work at an archery shop. I won't say what exactly I noticed, but I will say that I'm now putting this rest to the ultimate test. If it is what I think it is, it should pass this test with flying colors. It is currently mounted on my Parker Hornet Plus 2 which is a proven 365fps little monster!!! This bow is extremely violent!!! How violent?? I can't run any sight that has a light on it as it will break the light off just shooting this bow!! It's built for speed and that's all it's built for .... and this inexpensive rest is now mounted to it. I will give this 4 stars because of what I've noticed and IF this rest holds up to being mounted on this bow for even 100 shots, I'll give this 5 stars!!! There is alittle to be desired on this rest as far as adjustments such as easier to see marks ... I remedied this with alittle white crayon over the marks and wiped off the excess. Now to put this rest to the ultimate test and see what happens. (My Parker is far from stock and I don't encourage anyone to attempt to take their bow in the direction I chose to take mine. I am trained to do what I do so please don't risk harming yourself or others by altering your bow as it's extremely dangerous.) I will update this review when I hit the 100 shot mark .. IF this rest makes it that far. ;)

Its an ok rest
I put this rest on a back up bow . And after shooting it for a while the bottom bristles started wearing down quite a bit . Easy to install

Does the job
First time buying a whisker biscuit, trimmed as it were, and, just getting back into archery after a brief hiatus of 25 years (previous compound bow a PSE Laser Magnum F. Yeah! 1980's Style) so far so good. In all honesty, I feel that not having much experience yet with whisker biscuit rests gives me little to no credence on witch to draw a fair comparative. All I can go by is I don't feel an overwhelming urgency to throw money at the latest, greatest, anti-gravity, self correcting, Bo and Duke Luke approved archery gadget since my groups are tight at 30-40 yards with a 29 inch draw pulling 68 lbs on my Dragon X8. The install was so straight forward that, not for the lack of effort on my part, I got it on and paper tuned super easy, barely an inconvenience. The tediousness of having to get different alen wrenches to adjust my missile lock begs a no tool sight adjustment being my next upgrade.

Good arrow rest for turkey fletchings too.
Shot multiple types of arrows (plastic vanes and turkey fletchings). It worked really well. However, the construction is from plastic that looks like it could snap. I am not sure how long that will hold up for. Time will tell. I am happy ith the arrow rest.

Better than expected
Got this to put in my son's birthday present Barnett Vortex Lite. The factory rest is less than junk, damages arrow fetching and not what they show in pictures. This rest is perfect for my 9 year old to use. It's easy to place an arrow in the whiskers and holds well when shook hard. So far the rest has not had any failures or falling apart. For a starter rest, this is perfect. For a quick upgrade, it's perfect. As a spare in your case, it's perfect.I plan to buy another when I get a bow for my wife's birthday later this year.

It is better than the rubber flipper I replaced with it and ...
Overall it works as it should, but be advised that it does not come with the allen wrenches/hex keys needed to install it, it had no instructions and the screws for elevation and windage adjustments are some weird size that not even most hobbyists have. I couldn't find the right size hex key after going through my entire hex key collection, even the ones from the r/c cars and helicopters. I ended up replacing one screw with a longer 3mm screw and a nut, and used the paper trick on a slightly smaller hex key to adjust the elevation. I also had to clock the nocks slightly clockwise so the fletchings would clear the brushes. I didn't do this for the first arrow I shot and it went very wild because of it. It is better than the rubber flipper I replaced with it and that's what matters most to me.

Great for first time shooters, and robust.
Plenty of adjustments to center your arrow and have a predictable flight path. the brushes hold the arrow secure without grabbing the shaft and causing the arrow to fly off center. The brushes will strip a feather or vein if the arrow is not set in there with one pointing straight up, as a couple of my boys friends found out. these are great for new shooters because the arrow slips in from the top, and there is a definate click when if moves past the two top brushes and settles in the sweat spot. It also will allow the arrow to slip to one side or the other to indicate if the shooter is pinching the nock and applying to much lateral pressure to the arrow.this is also very robust and can handle several hard hits without loosing it's center or breaking off the bow. I have purchased 2 of these for my young shooters, and they have lasted and are still in great working order. I plan on purchasing more of these for the upgrade bows that we will be purchasing.
