I don’t think I’ve ever eaten enough raspberries by themselves to say if this actually tastes like it, but it’s delicious either way. It’s smooth and makes for a great after dinner dessert. It is a bit tart, so if you’re not a fan, you may not like this.

Talenti gelato is better than anything out there related to ice cream. This one, the coffee chocolate chip, the vanilla bean and the lemon one is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS BRAND 10 STARS!!

Talenti’s Roman Raspberry Sorbetto is different than most sorbet being mass-marketed, regardless of origin, price, or quality. The texture is uncannily smooth. Bursting with flavor, smooth as silk, and although sweet a degree of tartness remains resulting in a surprisingly delightful indulgence that’s close to guilt free. You may wish to experiment by adding a dollop of “Coco Whip” ( a dessert topping marketed as a healthier version of “Cool Whip”, some enjoy frozen while many enjoy refrigerated an unassociated commercially with Talenti which results in a complex palette in texture, temperature, sweetness, tartness, without diminishing the flavorful those 90+ raspberries Talenti claims are in each container. Why almost perfect? A quick perusal through the reviews reveal a common negative for a variety of reasons. That element is the packaging which consists of a plastic container with a plastic lid. Missing is any attempt of a safety or tamperproof seal, for others this hard plastic mating of lid to container proves challenging, to others the all plastic container raises concerns of the level of BPAs, a chemical so toxic some countries do no permit any parts per million (no, the USA is not so protective of its citizens, children to adults. Now ever since BPA levels and its possible effects on human physiology according to a plethora of studies spanning the globe some manufacturers voluntarily revamped or reformulated their packaging in record time earning these manufacturers the right and marketing tool of touting “BPA FREE” in bold letters and very often taking prominent positioning across the limited real estate packaging. So presently it’s not entirely nonsensical to infer the absence of any such claim translates into the presence of BPAs. Either that or the folks in that firm’s sales department are asleep at the wheel. Which would you believe is the most likely reason for the absence of any mention of BPA content? Excellent Tasting Sorbet.

Smooth. No seeds!!! Arrived very frozen. Had to wait 15 min to eat ..lots of raspberry flavor. How did you ship it so frozen?????very surprised . Will order more ice cream from you!!!
