It's been so long since I even thought about a stypic pencil. . . . sure enough, Amazon had it. I have used it twice, and it does just what it is supposed to do. Good product. There is a little sting when you use it, but that is normal. You can't go wrong with this.

Works great! Upon application, small nicks immediately stop bleeding. Larger cuts take a few repeated applications, but will stop faster than left to normal coagulation. It can sting a bit on larger cuts.

I bought this because someone recommended it would work better to stop bleeds when I accidentally quick my cat or dogs nails. It didn't really work as quickly as I would have liked, considering I'm trying to stop their bleeding and can't hold them still.
