The quality is evident in the welded stainless steel enclosure and the performance. It is also quite heavy and has large shock-absorbing feet so there is no transmission of vibration to the bench and it is very quiet.The only problem is it was shipped in a solid wooden crate with markings for upside orientation, but then that was put inside a plain cardboard box with no markings. Result? It was shipped and delivered upside-down. The huge weight of the machine damaged one of the included SST pans but the machine was untouched. A minor problem but could have been worse! I don't need the pan anyway as I am buying a sieve set separately.
