Great book

Holly Hobbie has a huge artistic gift and the ability to explore the fun of friendship! For children, it is colorful and fun. For adults, it gives us the chance to be kids again and cherish the memories of that special friend. Love you, Holly! Keep on writing and drawing.

Everybody has bad days, and sometimes we don't know what to do to help.Toot is having a bad day, and doesn't know why, so his friend, Puddle, tries to cheer him up. Nothing seems to help for very long until there is a big rainstorm that clears the air.I love that this book does not oversimplify these kinds of moods we all have. And yet, it gives hope that the mood will pass. Young children relate to this story well, especially when they are having a tough day.The art work and writing is beautiful, and I am a big Toot and Puddle fan because of that.I would definitely say it's a more positive approach than _Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-good, Very Bad Day_ and that it can also be read on any day, in any mood.The children I have read this book to love it as much as I do.

My almost three year old granddaughter loves this book

Very cute book! We love Toot and Puddle! The only drawback is the mailman folded it which damaged the binding and put it in our mailbox---not cool!!!

This book is wonderful for showing children what friendship can be; patience, kindness, and acceptance are all beautifully demonstrated by Toot and Puddle. The illustrations were gorgeous. The simple tale of helping a friend was marvelous. A great book for anyone who needs cheering up.

I gave this book as a gift for a five year old boy. I read it before I sent it and the story was very sweet. My friend says her son has read it every night before bed since receiving it for his birthday on August twenty fifth.

Such a sweet story of patience and friendship. I would love to spend the day with Toot and Puddle!I think these two would enjoy meeting Pooh and Piglet!The illustrations are superb! We need more friends like these two.Thank you, Holly!

...ou, qu'est-ce qu'un vrai ami! Toot & Puddle sont très différents mais se complètent à merveille. Chacune de leurs aventures est pleine de tendresse, de vrais "feel good" books pour enfants, mon fils de 7 ans aime encore toujours autant. Les dessins sont magnifiques et à la fin de chaque ouvrage il y a une surprise cartonnée (des cartes, un marque page, un écriteau pour la porte de la chambre à coucher de votre enfant...)
