Hard Wire Kit Micro USB Compatible with Mini 0806, Mini 0805 and Mini 0803 Dash Cam,

I got this to hard wire in my dash cam (a different model than the one it's intended for) and it works great on my 2005 Honda Accord. The cord is long enough to run all the way from the rear view mirror along to the ceiling to the A pillar, down the A pillar, and into the fuse box with about 2 ft left to spare.This may be a stupid thing but I really wish the right angle on the micro-usb turned the other way. Right now, the cord goes down from my dashcam, then back up to where it's hidden beneath the liner. I didn't knock any stars off since it totally depends on which accessory you're trying to mount it to.

Purchased two - both to install a Mini 0805 Dash Cams into our two vehicles. Install was easy and simple to do. But one of the dash cams overheated, started to smoke and now doesn't work. I'm worried the down-converter from 12v to 5v may not have worked and the extra juice may have fried the camera. Can't prove anything tho, and I'll still probably order another with a replacement dash cam down the road...

The problem with this is the plug that goes into the camera. It has a 45 degree angle vs. being straight down. I didn't realize this when I ordered it and now I can not plug the GPS cable into the camera as it is blocked by the power plug. This was after I had to pay a dealer a lot of money to run the power line around my windshield and into the fuse box.If your camera is GPS enabled, this may NOT work for you.

I expected solderless terminals instead of the pigtails.

Really long wire and has lasted so far. I haven't had any issues, and my Mini 806 works wonders!I will update as time goes on!

Wired it in, it worked perfectly. I like how the cable to the camera is very long...kept me from having to splice during a complex cable run.

Not worth the trouble or money. Hard wired this kit into my fuse box with a 5 amp in line fuse. It would work fine in the morning but would not power the dash cam when going to lunch in the afternoon. The only thing I can figure out is since I live in Florida the hard wire kit can not work in high temperatures. I did contact Extonixmart and though they were very nice they never did send out a new one as they had promised so after more than 3 weeks of waiting I had Amazon refund me the purchase price. (Extonixmart is a Chinese company that I was not aware of)

Description says it's for Mini 0803, but the way the angle is oriented it is incompatible. It needs to angle the other way.Also, the ground wire is super flimsy and weak, the wire snapped off after tightening the ground screw. Do NOT recommend. Try to find one with a U-shaped prong on the end.
