The case itself is pretty sturdy. It’s thinner than my last case, but it’s pretty long because of the speaker placement. I have problems sometimes when turning the charger button on where it doesn’t start charging my phone, no matter how long I hold the button down, and I have to take the phone out of the case and plug it back in- then it works. I spoke with a nice woman from customer service on the phone who told me to do that and to contact them again if it persists. I just didn’t feel like going through the hassle of having to mail it back, etc, so I’m just suckin it up. That’s on me.The battery life is decent, but my last one was also 4200mAH and lasted longer. I may have just gotten a lemon, which happens. It’s not the end of the world, it’s just one of those things where, for the money I paid, it should function properly.****Addendum:After writing this review I promptly received a phone call from Rachel at the customer service office. I gave her a brief description of the problem and she immediately offered to send a replacement case with an easy return process for the defective case and also a $10 Amazon gift card.One of my hang ups in returning items is the inconvenience or sheer laziness on my part to do so, so I don’t bother. A lot of vendors don’t make it as easy as dropping the old item into a pre-postage and addressed envelope. No printing, no scheduling a pickup or going to a UPS facility or the post office, or having to pay for return shipping, etc. Just drop it into a USPS mailbox. That I can deal with.I’m extremely happy when I receive customer care at this level. Other companies should follow suit.I’m confidant that the new case will work fine. Defects happen. It’s how a company stands behind their product and what they do to rectify the issue. That goes a long way with me.Thanks again Rachel. So five months after purchase this charger is still working as advertised.Unfortunately, the case in back cracked after not even 30 days after normal carry-the-phone -in-your-front-pocket usage.Pieces of the quite thin case fell off, exposing a quarter-sized hole through which you can see (and feel!) the delicate electronics that make this thing work.A duct-tape makeshift fix is keeping the hole from getting bigger but cracks in the case are still spreading.Does this work? Yes.Does it look classy? No.Would not buy again.

This is the third Alpatronix product I’ve had the pleasure of using. The first was the initial release for the iPhone X battery case, then the revision that came out maybe a year later, and this latest case is for the iPhone 11 Pro. There were a few quirks and oddities with previous models that seem to be resolved with this release of the case, but it’s not quite perfect. Read on for more!ProsLightning charger (personal preference but I like it over having to fumble for the correct orientation in the dark for the previous generation’s micro-USB port)Better, more consistent Qi charging than the previous modelGood extension to standard already good iPhone 11 Pro batteryLights aren't as bright when charging, which was annoying for me on previous modelsConsSometimes hard to release the top cap.Still some issues with Qi charging, but that may just be because my Qi chargers suckVerdict:If you’ve ever used the BXX series of cases for iPhone X, this is functionally equivalent with the aforementioned change in connector type and slightly revised design for the cap on top of the case. The back is sort of slick compared to previous models, you can even spin it around (though I don't recommend that), and overall just has a more solid feel than previous generations. I first had a super tight non-battery case for protection only, but this comes with the screen cover as well and feels like a more solid solution than any other I've tried. Overall, would not hesitate to recommend.

Like all of us with iPhones which inherently do not have sufficient battery capacity and physical protection, I've always had to use third-party protective battery cases for my iPhones. A few phones ago I switched to Alpatronix and have bought three of their cases, one for an iPhone SE and one for an 11 Pro.Then, the beauty of their product shone through when I dropped the 11 Pro from about 6 feet... and the Alpatronix case fully cushioned and saved the iPhone. But I had to replace the dropped and broken Alpatronix case.After weeks of reliable performance with the second iPhone 11 case, the case and phone seemed to stop charging. I emailed customer support and Rachel phoned me quickly. She was great... she made arrangements to send me a new replacment (at no charge), but also asked if I had checked the charging cable. I told her I had done so.After the call and her making arrangements to send the replacement, I double-checked and found that, in fact, I had TWO defective CABLES, not one defective Alpatronix. I called back and told Rachel "thanks, but no need to send a replacement."Alpatronix's first interest was to make sure that I was happy with their product and their service, not to run me through a gauntlet of "did you do this, that, and the other."Great product, great customer service, great attitude, great company. For any and all protective phone and battery cases, no one better than Alpatronix, in my opinion and experience.
