This covering is exactly what I’m looking for to cover the lower half of my face. I already have a hat with a back drape, but the brim doesn’t cast shade to the lower half of my face. The CoolNES covering, with the shorter silicone strap attached, goes right over my head and rests across the bridge of my nose, covering the entire lower half of my face, neck, and upper chest. It is lightweight, breathable, and stays securely around my head, without ripping out my hair or getting tangled in my ponytail. I much prefer this style than the typical gator style that sits around your neck. Reasonably priced and quick shipping are a plus as well.

This is a really cool product! It fits perfectly over my cap and protects my neck and ears from the summer sun on my daily walks. The fabric is soft but durable and drapes nicely over my neck and ears. It does keep me cooler and it looks very cool too! I bought the white color and will be getting more colors. I contacted the seller and he responded quickly to my inquiry and even went above and beyond to make me a very happy customer! Excellent customer service and this product is the coolest!!! Update - I also bought the blue and camel colors. Blue color is nice and vibrant. I was expecting the camel to be more grayish but it’s like a creamy dull mint green. Looks better with a green strap. No matter what color you get, these wraps are perfect for protecting your neck and ears from the sun!

This product is great and fills a need- but it is not quite perfect. I bought this for running, and specifically chose it because it comes farther forward on the brim than other drapes and hats, which provides better sun protection for the sides of the face. However, there needs to be a bit more fabric so that it can truly provide enough coverage AND have a snap to hold the flaps together. I am a small 5’2” female and think it needs to be larger. This is so close to being the right thing, but not quite there.

If I could leave 6 ⭐'s I would! I bought this for my husband who works outside in the heat all day in the brutal sun and gross humidity. He cannot praise it enough! He told me originally not to buy it, but I don't listen 😂 It's a little tight around his hat, but it'll stretch (he has a big head). He says it helps with keeping the sun off his neck and ears. And when he sweats, the material cools off his neck with the moisture. He's thinking about buying some for his work buddies as a gift. It takes the heat off of his neck and he doesn't have to worry about sunscreen or sunburns. It makes a big difference with the heat and keeping his head cool. Plus, it matches his vest.

This prevented me from burning my neck while doing all the week long yard work leading up to a yearly party. It was 100f+ out, but my neck never got sunburnt. I did have to hand wash it after a week from all the sweat it collected. But we'll worth it. Never bothered me, stayed on my hat well. Even has enough stretch to go around my over the ear headphones. Wish I would have bought one years ago!

I’ve been looking for something like this, and chose this because I figured if the band ever broke I could easily use a shoe lace or another way to tie it, should that be an issue. I chose the color “cream”, which was supposed to have a variety of colors, unfortunately I received one that is almost ALL blue, with the tiniest bit of color in only a small area. So was very disappointed that I ended up with an almost colorless drape. If I wanted blue, I would have ordered blue. Aside from that, this material is top notch, the best. The band system is great, I wish it had different band colors. I intended to use it over my bike helmet, but there’s simply no way it will fit over a “Thousand” helmet. That is only a minor issue, as it is perfect under the helmet. How ever being under the helmet, causes the helmet straps to pull it close to my body, and tight, making it hot. No air flow. Despite this, I still LOVE this material. Design. Everything about this is perfect. However, I think I received a kids version. I am only 4’ 11”, and it is far too short, it will not cover the gap on my neck at the top of the neck opening of my T shirt, leaving a slit to get sun burned. So disappointed to find the perfect drape for riding only to have it be for a little kid. I have dumped the net upside down looking for this brand in a longer version. I even thought of buying two, and possibly having someone custom sew the extra length on. It’s just way too short after the helmet straps pull in in tight, where your neck bends in back causes it to pull even shorter. It’s not long enough to drape down, or hang freely. Five more inches would be absolutely perfect. Despite these issues, this thing is really nice material, superb construction, awesome design with exchangeable bands. Wow! I say Wow, because I have tried numerous other neck covers, and none worked. This really is nice, it would be perfect for a kid. My head is 20 inches in diameter, and the shorter band is absolutely perfect. PLEASE, please! Make a real adult version, and I will be back for another.

I play disc golf in the mornings in Las Vegas. Summertime can be brutal on the back of your neck and ears. I bought this for myself and a friend. Phenomenal! I don’t feel the sun beating on my neck or ears. It’s really quiet, even in a wind. Very comfortable. It stays in place and it doesn’t trap heat. It’s very light weight and doesn’t interfere with your hearing or peripheral vision. I’ve used it while working in the yard on 100+ degree afternoons- same thing. Just phenomenal. Looks silly and works great. Just buy it.

I bought this specifically to wear on my Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike attempt starting March 18th, 2019. While I did not finish the trial (ran out of money), I did wear this for about 4 months straight. I washed it when I could but fortunately it did not hold smell. This helped to protect the back of my neck from the vicious south California sun. It easily connects to any hat and works well. Two things that could help improve the product: - This was just a tad too short. I am tall - 6'4" - and have a long neck. This worked well with my collar flipped up but without it flipped, a sliver of sunlight could hit my neck. Making the product a tad longer (1-2") would make all the difference! - Making a version that allows the user to wrap it around the front so that when the wind blows, it will stay put. I used safety pins sometimes to secure it to my shirt but a better answer would be a button or buckle that would help it stay put. This would of course require longer (wider?) fabric but would be a pretty easy design change. I spent a lot of time amongst windmills and boy do they blow. Overall, this is a great product and it lasted me so well that I still use it to this day.

I needed to protect myself better on holiday. This is a must for me along with a cricket hat to protect me from getting sun burnt when I go away in the summer. I recommend this with a cricket hat to protect from getting sun burnt every time (Put it on your holiday list!) especially when skin cancer exists.

amazing product very useful...I ordered this for cycling for bugs and works great, Have to reorder though as my son decided it would also work for him for golfing and baseball for the back of the neck to prevent sunburns.It will also work for my childs Vitiligo on her face and of course my husband wants one also!! I should have ordered a family pack lol!

I bought this for my partner, who clearly has some ginger genes and gets burned just looking out the window at sunshine. He reported he wouldn't really wear it to go jogging (which was what I'd bought it for) but he wears it all day while he's working outside or gardening, and likes it. You won't look cool wearing it, but you will be nicely protected which is the most important thing...skin cancer won't remember you looking cool when it comes calling in 20 years.
