Do you remember when you opened the box to your new VHS VCR about 20 years ago? These are the same type of cables that came in the box. If you are too young to remember 20 years ago, the VHS VCR was a tape recording device to record TV shows. I'm hooking my old VCR to my new HD receiver and needed some cables to do the job. The picture is only at 480 resolution so I don't need a lot of bandwidth and this cable will allow me to watch those old TV shows. Eventually, I'll use this cable to transfer my old "In Living Color" and who knows what else to DVD. I think that these cables are fine for low end use and the price is great.

So far, I've burned about 50 DVDs with this thing. Works like a champ. Connected and worked easily with my Lenovo laptop that didn't have a DVD drive. I thought it would be more expensive to get a DVD drive. Made the project much cheaper than sending them off to be done by a video conversion service.

Needed this for a revised home A-V set-up that included a VCR (remember those?). The original cable that came with the unit was only 3 feet long, and I needed one to reach a new wall-mounted TV. The item is perfect for this application, at an excellent price point: it is cheaper than anything at the shack, depot, and some other online A-V specialty dealers. This is a perfectly acceptable cable if you are ever going to require a simple composite video and L+R audio connection again. The cable seems well made; the video wire (yellow tip) is thicker than the red and white audio wires. My only quibble is the proximity to the end of the cable of the split (where the 3 wires branch off), ~6". It's fine on the back of a VCR where the jacks are right next to each other; not so good on the back of the TV where the jacks are farther apart. Not a major problem though.

Looks well built and does the job; video quality is as you would expect from a composite video cable. An RCA cable like this (especially a 50ft long) would cost a fortune at a store compared to this, so the price is excellent.The yellow video cable has a thicker cable than the audio cables. I'm not sure if this is suppose to me insulation or something to protect against electromagnetic interference or not. The cables are attached with a glue which you can easily separate if needed. The end of the jackets right after the plug themselves are kind of sharp, look out!

Why pay a gazillion dollars to one of the big box stores that have to mark up these things to make up for some of the sale prices on products that use them? I bought this cable to go with a Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player, Black (also a very good deal on Amazon) that came with a 3 foot cable that was too short for where I needed to locate dvd player from the wall mounted TV. This cable works just fine and it arrived in two days with Prime shipping. It seems pretty sturdy and well made so we'll probably get a lot of use from it.

Three stars equals OK. The reason I ordered this particular set is that the yellow cable in the picture was clearly much larger in diameter than the other two. Upon receipt I find that all lines are the same size, the usual skinny cabling that comes with AV units. Thus, I downgrade this cable to three stars. The AV cable, basically is OK, and the plugs are not gold plated. The picture might lead you to think plating might be other than standard; don't let it. I don't like being misled by this "fulfilled by Amazon" item picture, and therefore am writing this review to prevent you from inferring anything.Edit: March 4, 2012--I see that since my original review, the picture has been corrected to represent truth. Kudos to whomever was responsible.

I needed an Audio Video RCA Cable 6ft and that is exactly what I got! Cable arrived on time! The conditon was just as the seller said it would be. If you need a cable or other similar items RiteAV is a very good choice. The price is just amazing. You would be crazy to pass up a deal like this on a Audio Video RCA Cable 6ft, if you needed one.
