55 Sport X-Type SG Replacement Studs for adidas Football Boots

These fit well and are high quality, however I had a small problem. The stud key for the original Adidas studs was too small for these ones. They have a larger diameter at the tip of the stud than the more pointy original ones, and therefore the key does not fit over them. I had an old key for classic rugby studs, and it was way too big. So I had to find the old style metal key (see photo). Looks a like a small spanner. Fortunately this worked well. So take care you have the right kind of stud key! Otherwise these are excellent.

Good studs, I'm using them in my sons boots for rugby as they seem to conform to specification.... but they also fit in my other sons Asics boots, the Asics studs have been impossible to find so these have been a real find...

Can’t find a five groove wrench to tighten them. It gives you a link to the Red 55 Sport X-Type Stud Wrench but that’s for the three groove. If anybody could point me in the right direction, I’d be grateful

Bought these for my son’s Adidas Malice boots after having searched everywhere to find replacement studs that fit them. Glad to say they’re a great fit.

Fitted to Adidas X16s. Didn’t seem to fit in the recessed socket as well as the proprietary Adidas X soccer studs they were replacing. Lo and behold on the second use, despite proper tightening, one came loose and was lost.Spend £5 more on the Adidas ones.

They are perfect. They fit perfectly and are identical to his original studs they are easy to put on and remove. They are great value and quality

Can't really comment on the quality, but thought It worth pointing out that these are too fat to fit my Nike Mercurial boots.

The 13mm ones (only 4 of this size in the packet) fit ASICS Lethal Gel Tight 5 rugby boots. They are a nightmare to find!!!Could do with having packets of just these (perhaps 8 to a packet - enough for one boot)Very pleased!
