Great product. The temperature control is the primary reason I selected this product. The accessory tools are an added bonus to help focus the heat. I used this heat gun to help adhere the tape and then help to shrink wrap the plastic to some outside windows. The light winds were shifting and the temperature was dropping when I started the windows. Being able to slowly adjust the heat settings was a great help. There are two hard to reach places (I am 6' 5") and the tips helped focus the heat to just where it was needed.The only drawback is the heat gun is a little heavy. I totally understand this is necessary due to the variable heat settings. A quarter of the time was spent with arms over my head using the heat gun. The case is a strong benefit that easily accommodates the heat gun and all the attachments. All the attachments are smartly able to put into the case.This is a great tool that will be used to help remove paint from wood and other purposes around the house. It seems built solidly and a product that is a must for every tool box

The attachments did not fit properly in the case and the plastic handle on the putty knife was damaged trying to get it to snap in. However... I used the heat gun itself to fix the putty knife handle and then reshape the case slightly so the putty knife and all of the attachments fit in properly. Ultimately, that was an easy fix. My remaining concern is the utterly terrible, floppy, switch. It gets caught and/or creates an inconsistent delay when switching between blower settings. I suppose these are minor annoyances for the amazing price point but it is definitely a result of corner cutting. Otherwise the heat gun is lightweight, heats up quickly and has plenty of power and airflow.

I received the heat gun and it worked well until the 32 day, Something with the power switch, Amazon told me they are out of it and contact the seller, which I did. Heard back within 12 hours, just give us your address we will send a new one to you, WOW. Now stuff happens with products, sometimes they fail, but what did not fail is the companies commitment to their product and customer service. Well done and thanks for being a standup company, rare in these times.

I purchased the gun + case, and the recommended tubing it suggested on what other items people buy with this item. I used 2 of the attachments to try and melt the tubing around a cord, but the tubing didn't shrink tight. I don't know if that was due to the gun or the tubing. The images in the advertisement show different attachments which I hoped they would have included but sadly they weren't. The case seems to be cheaply made or repurposed from a similar item due to having different cut outs. The triangular 3d attachment doesn't fit in it's spot so it floats around freely, as well as the handle to the triangular scraper (there isn't a cut out for this.). The gun was $25 and the case was $15 more, for $15 more I would have expected a better quality case.For all of these issues I give 2 stars.

I own a honey and soap business. I use this to shrink wrap my soap. Best part of this item is controlling the temperature of the heat. Heats up extremely quick. It heats the plastic just right without melting the soap at all.The case is nice for storage. The gun itself is light weight but very sturdy. The attachments are a little on the flimsy side. Feels like thin aluminum and can be bent easily if you don't take care of it. The attachments work well though and are easily put on and off. I have put many hours on this gun an it works great.

I bought this to replace my existing 1200 watt heat gun for a rather large paint removal job. I figured 50% more power would speed the work considerably. However, this gun was only slightly more powerful than my old one. It's rated at 1800 watts at 110 volts. Yet at 113 volts I measured only 1295 watts - barely more than my old one that performs close to its specification. I also noticed the absence of any third party test certification marks such as UL or CE. Therefore I don't believe it would be OSHA legal for use in a workplace. On the positive side it does appear to be solidly built.

Have found nothing I didn’t like about this heat gun. It has been ‘put thru the paces’ as they say since I received it several weeks ago. I needed a heat gun that would remove old dried paint from kitchen cabinets. It has done this very well using the various items included in the kit. I have been using it outside in very cold (40-60 degree) and windy weather. I especially didn’t expect much from it when it was windy but it still did the job (a bit slower then it probably would have on a warm calm day). Great purchase.

I was a test engineer at a defense contractor and this heatgin is comparable to the quality used there. Great gun, tons of attachments & accessories and a carrying/storage case.

Comes with a case and different heads so stores nicely. Window head a great feature so do not break the glass by heating. Found use the hottest temperature for stripping off four nasty layers of paint. Use the lower speed to cool down. Heats up quickly. Have about 30 hours on the gun so far and still working well.

this heat gun works greatjust remember to read ALL the instructions before you turn it on.this did the job in my shower to remove worn out grip strips by heating them up and then just pull them off. then heat the left over glue on the lowest temp scrape it upthanks

Worked well. I like the variable heat. Comes with useful accessories although the accessories feel cheap and not durable enough for big projects.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I literally turned on this heat gun for the first time on the lowest heat setting and within 5 seconds it started sparking and smoking inside the housing. Other heat guns I have used don’t do that…I’m afraid to use it..I’m not trusting this brand I don’t think it is safe.

The product was delivered very quickly. I ordered the kit with the blow molded case and selection of tools with it. A well made product which I used to thermal form vinyl plank flooring for stair edges.
