UPDATE: I called the company because the dummies come with a 1-yr warranty. Their customer service was excellent. They said its unacceptable and unusual for their dummies to come apart that quickly. They sent two replacement dummies even though only 1 of the two I ordered here had ripped. In the future, I'd be more inclined to order directly from the company. Original review: The dummy arrived on Dec 29 and the seam split on Jan 7. We have a bird hunting dog, so we use the 2 dummies we purchased on a daily basis for training. We toss, he retrieves, and barring his learning curve of how to carry it properly, he never plays with it or chews on it. (He's 3 now, so he knows how to carry it properly with the occasional playful toss in the air when his puppyness bubbles up. He's quickly corrected and does it right.) He carries it to us, drops on command (never any tugging), and never has access to it unless he's training. Other dummies we've had from this company have lasted for years with that type of use. I've stitched it with high quality thread, but 10 days of use as it was intended before needing a repair is not acceptable.

Received it quickly and as advertised. Looks to be solid canvas construction that will hold up. Haven’t had a chance to use it but it looks like it will work perfectly as designed.

I have purchased these for almost 2 years. When one goes bad I just buy another. I have a 2-year-old energetic dog who loves to retrieve. He is a mixed breed with medium drive and he loves working with these. It is a good toss-and-retrieve toy but also the rope makes it a good tug-of-War toy for you and your dog. My only criticism is it does not hold well in water as long as I'd like. For that reason, we mostly play with this in the yard or at a park. It is bright and easy for him to find when training and I like that I can spray it with a scent for scent practice as well. We will continue to purchase as each one gets worn down too much.

Great for starting your dogs on retrieving at any age. If you have more than one dog, though, you might want to get more than one decoy or they will fight over it when they realize they can get a treat upon retrieval. Here I’m working two dogs at the same time to make sure they each realize there’s a treat at the end of bringing it back to me not just coming back to me.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel this one is important for other pet owners. I purchased this toy for my dog, who is not an aggressive chewer or rough player, and it ripped apart during only her third time playing with it. Once it tore, the material inside started coming out everywhere—and what concerned me most was that the filling had a sand like texture. I immediately took it away and threw it out because I was worried about the risk of her ingesting it. For a product meant for pets, especially dogs who naturally chew and play, I expected much better durability and safer materials. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this toy.

Lasted under 2 weeks. 20 pound GSP Puppy destroyed it.

There are some reviews stating they were chewed apart. Bumpers are for supervised training. They are not chew toys. If used for their proper purpose they will last for decades.

The product is good, the name needs a little work. It is not Jumbo it is a small size, if I would have checked the specs I would have known that. It works perfectly for my 2 dogs (65 & 70 lbs). The price was very reasonable.
