Works well
I purchased this to keep my pens and receipts organized from my documents. Overall the item works well, it’s light, it stays closed. The issues that took away a star are the curved opening on the bottom tray that is too large and the pens slide through the opening, which defeats the purpose of the pen storage space. The clip that secures the unit shows wear very quickly, but does a good job of keeping it closed.

Fits a lot, but thin aluminum so avoid abuse
In a work truck, I have seen these things take a decent amount of abuse. If the top gets caught on something and bent, it can be brutal. Not too heavy, and you can bend it back pretty easily. Size is perfect for a note pad. I wish the pencil compartment had a tighter fit to the top surface because utensils will end up floating around the inside after being knocked around. Top clasp is great though.

Great and sturdy for those who are in air cadets Canada and are junior ncos. It can carry papers, pen, markers, folders, even phone. A fantastic clipboard for ftx because it is waterproof and sturdy. Recommended!
