Excellent tool rest, just the right size
I had a larger 14” and smaller 4” powermatic tool rests. I needed a mid sized rest. This is perfect. Just what I needed. Holds well.

Works great on Powermatic 2020 lathe
The hardened steel rod is very smooth and the tools move across it with ease. Works well for sheer cuts where you need the handle low for the proper angle.

Make sure you order the proper post length
Nice tool rest, top is durable after a month of use and no dents or bumps. Smooth finish on the back.
