It is indeed waterproof; there are actually instructions that come with the case to test the waterproofing before installing your phone, which I found to add confidence in the purchase.The case is bulky, but that should kind of be expected. The Note 4 is huge as it is, and adding decent protection to the device shouldn't surprise you about this.There are several actual issues with the case, however. For one, it is very tight inside this case. So tight, in fact, that the power and volume control buttons on the sides of the phone can easily become depressed by movement inside your pocket. This may be undesirable if, say, you're listening to music or a podcast via bluetooth.Another issue is, if the screen is not properly suctioned to the screen, the stylus won't work correctly. That being said, if you plan on using a stylus while using this case...well, find something else. Otherwise the case works as advertised.It's a decent enough case as long as you use it for it's intended purposes. And you get what you pay for. That doesn't mean it's a bad product for being cheap; it's just a product that does what it does for it's price point. This isn't my main case, but I have used, and will continue to use, this case legitimately.

This has been working well for me I use it when I'm sailing as well as when I'm working with messy stuff that conger my phone messy and haven't had any leaking problems. The only down side is that the screen is like gummy sticky kinda clear plastic lots of bubbles get between the phone and screen making it really hard to see out in the sun but in doors or shad you can kinda see you just have to try to get few bubbles and that's almost impossible, and the gummy screen gets alot of stuff stuck to it and you have to wash it all off. But it does work and is tested often I've been using this for 6 months but have started to trade for a floating one when sailing.

This case is hard to beat for the price. We go boating a lot, and my phone always seemed so vulnerable out in the elements. Now it is rugged and protected, but I can still use it. I like to be able to take a lot of pictures while we are out on the boat, and I don't want to carry a separate waterproof camera for this purpose - just another device to babysit. I am also always afraid I'm going to drop the phone on the boat - either in the boat itself, or overboard. It can be slightly awkward to hold a note 4 while taking a picture, and trying to avoid touching the screen, so you are holding it by the edges. The neck lanyard included with this case solves this problem. Plus the galaxy note 4 camera is really quite great. I also use this for Navionics on my phone. I spent a good 3-4 hours sitting on the back of my boat fishing by the trolling motor in the pouring rain with my phone around my neck one morning, taking pictures, and keeping track of the bottom structure using navionics. The phone stayed completely dry and safe inside the case the whole time. You cannot access the power button or the volume buttons, but really this is a good thing - less to go wrong / wear out, and less potential water intrusion points. I look at it like this: it's an inexpensive piece of armor I can place my phone in when I'm going to be in weather or situations where I might drop the phone, and it works perfect for this. When I am no longer in this type of situation, I remove the phone and use it as I normally do without the case.

It is okay for the price you pay for it. It keeps water out, which is the main reason to purchase it. However, it does not make the phone functions easy to use. The side buttons are not accessible (which it warns you about) so that is okay once you adjust to that. The screen cover material makes it possible to use the touchscreen still, but it is sticky, dusty, and not easy to swipe your finger over. It is almost impossible to use it as a phone, because I can't hear the other person very well at all. You also have no access to the stylus. So it would be good to use as a sometimes case, when you want to be near water and take pictures, check messages, or send a text. Not for use all the time. I will keep it, and use it when my kid wants to play games on my phone. Or when we go swimming, but that's about it.

This product came quickly and fit great. Didn't test the water proof part unless you count dropping it in the snow or on the ground when it was raining- both of which have happened a few times! Phone case works as described as my phone did not get wet. Thanks seller

I bought this case in July for vacation for my Note4. Structurally it's a great case and protected my phone at the beach and our flooded ranch almost perfectly. I had no issues using the touch screen outside of water but you do have to be careful what it touches. At the end of my trip I had the case strap around my neck while horse riding and I leaned forward quickly to avoid some branches and punctured the soft material. I ended up putting a small pieces of tape on the area (inside and out) and just avoided submerging my phone in water and it worked. Also, if you're using this with the touchscreen submerged underwater know that I had to use my camera timer bc the water pressure affected my touch screen so I couldn't press the camera button while it was submerged. I did try to be careful opening the clasps each time I opened it (which was often) just to be safe and had no problems with them. They seem to be sturdy. Performance wise it's great on my rear facing camera (just be careful not to scratch the plastic in front of the camera) but the black plastic is so close to my front facing camera that it affected my photo quality. Overall, I would buy this again knowing that I can't use my front facing camera just because it did a great job protecting my phone under/near water.If you found my review helpful, please click yes below. this was not what I expected. It was a waterproof case yes but your phone was encased in like plastic wrap it doesn't look like it would have kept water out. I ended up selling it as soon as I bought it I didn't like it at all.

Product arrived on the expected delivery date. They make sure to tell you to test it out first and do maintenance sort of. I tested it out on water, as recommended, and it worked pretty good. No water inside. It is a bit hard to lock and unlock with your hands (I guess for your phone to be really safe) so I use an ear pick (clean of course) and it does the job well.As for the screen, it sticks to my phone screen and leaves a mark when you touch it. Not very fond of it as it also makes it difficult to remove dust that got stuck on it. This is my first waterproof case so I don't know about other ones, but when your phone is inside, you really can't access the side buttons. In my case I couldn't use my fingerprint sensor as I have a Samsung Note 4 and I would have to swipe my finger, but I couldn't do that because the 'walls' of the case is blocking the way. If you get the idea. So I used my backup password.Other than that, I think it's pretty good as it does the job of a 'waterproof' case. I also like that they give you a larnyard along with the product. I shall be using it to my next water adventure.

The front plastic has a lot of bubbles is hard to get them away. It make the display unclear. After used for one month, all locks were broken. The plastic is very low quality.

Hard to take on and off dont like that it has no buttons

I've tested this case and I am really pleased with it and can't wait to use it when I start kayaking this year.

Very good for going in to the water.
