Keeps food piping hot!
Initially I bought this product to take it for my hikes, where I will rehydrate food by pouring hot water. The rehydration process takes boiling the food on the stove longer, to avoid boling we bought this flask to cozy up. The flask would just not only cook our food for us and also kept it super hot during long hikes, hot food is a delicacy away from civilization.Later my 4th Grade daughter started using it for lunch box, I will heat up food at around 7.20AM in the morning and pack it in this flask (Usually Rice with Indian Dhal, Hot Sticky Rice with Fish, Noodles, Rice Soups etc) and her lunch time is 12.00 o clock. She complains the food is too hot to eat (Which is a good problem compared to her friends, whose food is cold and not palatable). The food stays piping hot around the same temperature you add. I have recommended this product to quite a few of my friends who are extremely happy with it as well. This is a great flask to have if you want to transport hot food. The food stays hot, because the lid is insulated as well unlike other flasks in the market. The bad reviews I read here could be due to not closing the lid tightly, or not using the top lid/cup. I close it tight always and it stayed hot every single time.

Typical performance, by the numbers. Some extra touches that might justify price.
Steel double walled vacuum containers have become completely commodity. We got this and an "Thermos" container, and compared their performance. In terms of materials and construction, the Energify is par for the class. It is a nicer style, and includes a convenient pressure-reliefe valve, which does not seem to harm its insulating capability. We tested the performance this way:Materials:1 Energify container1 Thermos container1 generic double wall tumbler1 Thermopolis TP03A digital cooking thermometer1 generic analog cooing thermometer for validation1 Zojirushi water boiler with 4L of water at nominal 190FMethods:Measured ambient room temperatureFilled tumbler with warm water, nominal 120F for baselining thermometersFilled both vacutainers with Hot Water from the boiler.Measured temperature of water in vacutainers at 0, 8, 12 and 33 hours. Two measurements per container per time period, with thermometer re-baselined with warm water between measurements. Results:Will attach charts shortly. The main finding is that the Temperature decay curves very closely followed an ideal Newtonian model of exponential decay, with a constant of -1/22h . This means that for both vacutainers, the half of the heat (or cold) will be lost in 15 hours. This performance seems typical. So as far as thermal performance, these are okay containers. The Energify is pricier than most, and I am not sure that the design, convenience valves and other accessories such as bag and spoon justify the price. The materials, particularly the lids, are of reasonable quality. 3 + 1 star for additional features which may or may not be useful to you.

Perfect thermos for my daughter.
I did not realize how many options are out there for thermoses, however after reading the reviews, it really dwindled down to only a few. After reading the reviews for this option, it was a no brainer. I got the orange 15 oz one and it fits so much food, while being compact enough to easily fit (with room to spare) in my daughter's lunch box. I prepped the thermos for hot food for a few minutes only, and put in the heated food around 5:45am-ish. My daughter's lunch time is at 12:30pm and she said the first few bites were really hot, that she needed to wait a while for it to cool off a little before she could eat the rest. That was good to know, so maybe next time I won't heat it up as much or maybe try without prepping it for hot food. Either way, I am happy that I can send her warm food to eat for lunch, especially as the weather gets cooler. Very happy with this product.

Keeps food piping hot for longer than 5 hours, great thermos for school for my kids. Love the fact that the cover can be used as a bowl!

Our 3 kids love it
We have 3 kids ages 6-10 and all three love their Energify food jar. The key differentiator is the air release valve which makes it much easier, and more importantly safer, for kids to open these jars when hot liquid is inside. With the three different colors, each of my kids have their own favorite jar!

The Grandkids Love them!!
School cafeteria food..... Right.... bought these for three of our granddaughters and they love them. No standing in line to use the one and only microwave in the cafeteria. These insulated food jars keep the kids meal piping hot from soup to couscous and veggies. If my granddaughters love them then I love them.ENERGIFY is also a company that stands behind their products. One of the boxes was missing the replacement seal package and when I emailed to inquire about how to purchase a set they sent one that day by UPS Second Day Air.Clearly Customer Service is at the core of this companies business modelMy Grand daughters and I would highly recommend this product!

Leak proof!
I purchased this container because I needed a way to transport stews/soups for my lunch without it spilling in my motorcycle backpack or tail bag.Success! Brought soup one day and grapefruit in juice another day and haven't had any issues with leaks. Even then the container fell over in my bag, everything was secure and dry. The container also does an excellent job of maintaining the temperature. So my grapefruit and juice was nice and chilled, or my soup was still warm.Clean up is super easy, hand washed in the sink at work. The container didn't hold the smell from either dish, so my next meal wont smell like my previous one.
