I love to sing and taught myself the basics of using a keyboard so I could keep myself in tune. The song selection is excellent and they are very easy to play.

Some good songs and easy to play

Unfortunately this was not marked for TOTAL beginer, nor that it contains notes for only one hand :( maybe picture of one of the pages would be better to include into the product page :( Would be great for total begginer who can (and want to) play only by one hand.

I'm teaching myself to play the piano. No musical ability, just leaned some things from an on line piano course. This book was for me a great stepping stone to playing real music. I have written in it to remind me of some things. Initially I thought that playing cords on my left hand and music notes on my right was a cheat. Until I found out that many of the greats did the same thing. This is actually is my second purchase of this book as a friend saw my original and wanted one for himself. So I'm a mid 60 year old recovering stroke victim with no previous musical experience, learning from an online course and this book. I actually have the Christmas Carol one as well. Go for it and enjoy.
