WATERWICH 12V 250A Winch Relay Solenoid Contactor Thumb Switch Combo with 6 Protecting Caps Universal for ATV UTV 2000-5000lbs

I was able to replace the solenoid on my current winch with this one. I did not need to replace the handlebar switch as the wires all hooked up perfectly. The product was well labeled and is working as expected.

WATERWICH 12V 250A Winch Relay Solenoid Contactor Thumb Switch Combo Universal for ATV UTV 2000-5000lbs I have a 2021 Honda Talon with a factory installed Honda/WARN XT/RT40/4.0ci winch, solenoid/contact 90886 / pn#76429, costing $130. I have a plow attached and winch would only spool out. After tearing my solenoid apart I found the contacts burnt. This replacement combo was only $29.00 and is a great option. I purchased - 3 Way Adapter Dual Male to Single Female Brass Quick Splice Spade Terminal Connectors Piggyback Crimp Terminals - to hook up the original 10' corded handheld winch controller while still utilizing the included thumb switch. It is working perfectly. Hopefully I can add photos later. Wire quality - could be better. Red power wire is designed to come out of sheathing about half way down and is a little shorter in length than the two switch wires. Wire is very small and extra care is needed to ensure it will not rub/pinch anywhere. Wire Length - more than enough to run however you want. Instruction quality - diagram is accurate, but tiny on a small card. Positive & negative markings are also stamped into casing. Replacement Value - I believe it is excellent at around 20% of OEM cost. ($29 vs. $130)

Fit well, easy to attach and it works great out of the box. Time will tell if it holds up. A couple small issues were that the connector covers are huge and do not fit well they are very loose and offer little protection. I had to fill with silicone. otherwise it seems practical

easy to install i had an old high power switch for my wench on my 4x4. it wore out this solenoid switch is great i love it.

Worked on 98 polaris sportman 500 with Warren winch.

I would recommend this to replace those failing electrical parts for power wenchs, it was easy to install and worth the cost and much cheaper than the factory parts that are way higher for the same kind of thing.

Used this to replace the original one in our badlands winch. It worked and has outlasted the original one by a long shot. Definitely worth the money.
