Buxom Va-va-plump Shiny Liquid Lipstick - Getting WarmerThis is a light brown shade with purple undertones. This is a slippery gloss lippie that dries down to a shine. It is highly pigmented but be sure to use a lipliner with this since it tends to feather easily. This is very moisturizing and has the Buxom tingle that they are famous for. I have used their other formulas and really love their glosses. I love the color so I will deal with the fact that this is so messy to wear until it dries down.You only need one swipe to fill in your whole lip. Just start at the top and press your lips together for full coverage. Buxom’s unique peptide and hyaluronic acid booster helps to support natural collagen, give lips a volumized look, and plump to perfection—without irritation. Amazing formula, but I was hoping for a more deep berry/wine color. It’s more like a hot pink/electric fuschia.Boldly Go is a gorgeous bright, true but almost fiery red that coats the lips like a dream...but after some time it will bleed. Will have to see if using a lip liner or lip primer will help at all.

I like Buxom lip products. They contain lip plumpers that feel tingly when applied but make your lips look about 10 years younger, or so I like to think. If you want your lips to look plumper and smoother, stay away from the matte finishes which highlight every wrinkle and uneven patch.This particular lip product, Va-Va Plump, has a satin finish. It is described as a "shiny liquid lipstick" but I don't find it shiny like a gloss. It has a thick liquid consistency that is applied with a doe-footed wand. The color is highly saturated and opaque. The wand smooths it over the lips evenly and once dry, it stays on for a very long time. Be sure to dry your lips prior to application as this formula won't adhere to wet areas.Although I like the formula of this lipstick, I found the color "Getting Warmer" a mid-range neutral, too brown/orange for my complexion, which can be described as light neutral olive. My lips have a lot of blue pigment and this shade is draining and odd looking on me.If you can wear brown/tawny/orange shades you'll probably like "Getting Warmer."A popular, "universal" neutral mauve shade that is found across most Buxom lip products is anything with "Dolly" in it. In the Va-Va Plump formula, it is "Come to Dolly." I think I'll try that one next.

I was not sure about the color, Getting Warmer, but it is perfect on my pigmented lips. It is a brownish nude but not too brown and not too pink. I love Buxom lip products and this is no exception. This was easy to apply and I did not need a lipliner. The color did not bleed outside of my lips.This does have the trademark Buxom plumping feeling. I do not feel it really does anything when plumping, but leaves a cooling effect on your lips. It has a strong menthol smell which I could do without. I could smell it only a few seconds after applying, but then it does go away.This does not dry down like a matte and is not transfer proof. It did dry down a little though which I prefer so it does not leave my lips super dry.Overall, if the smell was different these would be 5 stars.

I received "Getting Warmer" color. It reminds me of a very 90's color- a chestnut rose, a browned pink. It is close to KVD Lolita shade. I personally don't like the color on me with my pale skin but my friend with tanned skin loves this shade. The color swatch in the listing is exactly the color this is in the tube.It goes on very smoothly and is very pigmented. The applicator is small so easy to draw on with or without lipliner. It is not longwearing so you will have to reapply after a few hours. It stays on the shiny side, so doesn't make your lips feel dry like matte lipstick. Again with the previous Buxom Plumping products, this did not have the smell or feel of any plumping action. So minus a star for that.Overall it's a nice liquid lipstick but no plumping action. I will buy a couple of the red shades because I do like the feel and wear of this lipstick, just not this particular shade.

This is a nice color for me, it is a richer color than my lip color so it enhances my look while remaining somewhat natural. The staying power is not good and that is why this is not a 5* review. Applying the color is easy and with one dip I could easily cover my upper and lower lips. The color did not run but it also did not last. I drank from a water bottle shortly after application and left quite an imprint on the bottle. The product is moisturizing, I am a lip balm addict and did not have to apply balm while wearing this lip color. Long lasting products are often drying to my lips and I like this brand because it is not drying. I would buy this even though it requires monitoring for reapplication.

El color es un lila rosado, subtono azul, la textura es muy cómoda, no se siente el efecto voluminizador, pero si los hidrata y tiene muy buena cobertura, no dura mucho porque es tipo gloss pero deja tus labios con un poco de color. Recomiendo comprarlo en oferta.
