This is a quality item. A must have for every home. Item itself has so many uses. From cleaning to food. I couldn't find it at local shops even though I live in a very big city. It cost so much online because of the weight to ship it.

At the end of the day, it's citric acid, and works the same as every other one I've used. The brand i used to use nearly doubled in cost, so I found this brand. The main difference is in the size consistency of the particles. This has a much wider variation, and the granule size is overall larger. The previous brand I used had a very consistent size much like table salt. That might matter to you if you're wanting something with a predictable size. I use this for my dishwasher to remove calcium where I don't have a water softener. For that, it's just fine and works exactly the same. Also, this container is better, the bags I used to get had a tendency to split in shipping.
