These sockets come pree programed so can be used straight from the box, they can also be reprogrammed to suit your own requirements, the remote looks a little flimsy but is remarkably sturdy, they work very reliably. I Would recommend them, they're excellent value for money

We bought a set of five of these to replace some cheaper ones made by another company which were beginning to fail. These are much better quality and work with no fuss at all. The remote-control units are positive and easy to use, and come supplied with batteries. We only need one remote for our use, but it’s always good to have a spare.A nice touch is that these units are all numbered (unlike our previous ones) which makes it very easy to plug them into whatever switching order suits your needs.Another plus is that two units can be plugged in side-by-side into a twin gang socket. Not all similar units made by other companies allow this – my previous ones were so tight when plugged in next to each other that the manual on/off switch on the side would get pressed in, thus making the unit inoperable. That does not happen with these units. However the switch has very little clearance against the next unit, so you’d have to use a credit card or ruler to slide in between to switch it back on after a power cut.These devices get rid of all that undignified bending and uncomfortable stretching to turn off table lamps and suchlike, we think they’re great.

I first tested each of the three sockets. Unfortunately this was delayed because the supplied battery for the remote control was completely flat, thus four stars. Luckily I had some spares, as I have used a similar product in the past, and on testing I found that all three sockets worked. I find these very useful in that I can switch off several on-standby appliances in one go with the remote instead of having to access difficult to access mains sockets. This contributes to energy saving over the long term. The remote sockets are numbered and pre-programmed so are easy to use straight from the box. The range is fine for switching throughout the house. I am very happy with the functionality of these. It remains to be seen how long they last but my previous set, identical except for the manufacturer’s name, lasted 5 years.

Brilliant set of plugs. Really easy to use and set up. Perfect for the christmas lights. Great vaule for this set.Also Bought the 3 plug set 2 worked straight out of the box but 1 didn't work at all.Simple 1 email sent a replacement was sent within 5 days. You can not get better.

Easy to install and operate. I have one inside a cupboard and it works perfectly. The two remotes mean i can install equipment in two rooms. Would order again.

Brilliant and cheaper than smart plugs
