Warmth on Wheels: The Ideal RV Companion - 700W Oil Filled Radiator Heater Review
Living in an RV requires smart choices for heating, especially during chilly nights. After thorough use, I’ve found the 700W oil filled radiator heater to be a game changer. Its compact size fits perfectly in the limited space of my RV. Unlike traditional fan space heaters that operate at higher temperatures and pose a fire risk, this heater maintains a safer, lower heat, ensuring peace of mind. One of the standout features is its efficiency. Despite its small size, it effectively warms up the space without consuming too much power - crucial when you’re relying on limited RV resources. The operation is whisper-quiet, a welcome contrast to the often loud fans of other heaters. The lack of a fan also means no circulating dust, which is a significant benefit for anyone sensitive to allergens. And the maintenance? Practically non-existent. Just a simple wipe down occasionally is all it needs.Of course, it’s not without its limitations. The heating process is slower compared to fan heaters, so it requires some foresight to turn it on ahead of time. But once it gets going, it maintains a consistent temperature, enveloping the space in a cozy warmth.Overall, for RV dwellers or anyone needing a safe, efficient, and low-maintenance heating solution, this 700W oil filled radiator heater is a solid choice. It’s a simple yet effective solution to stay warm without the worry.

It does okay
I bought this to supplement my furnace in my living quarters horse trailer. I was hoping that if it wasn't too cold I could use this rather than listen to the furnace turn on and off all night. I have a larger 1500w oil heater that heats my 16x20' barn tack room nicely on half power, and this was half the wattage so I thought it would be enough. On full power it can't keep my 12' short wall factory insulated trailer warm enough to be comfortable when the weather is in the high 40's low 50's. It's nice when it's a bit warmer and you want to take the chill off. I may have expected too much. It seems to get much hotter to the touch than my old heater does also, so I'm careful where I put it. It is a nice size (you can tuck it lots of places in a camper), it appears to be good quality, it's obviously quiet and it does put out some heat - it just wasn't the solution for my problem. Update winter 2023/24, after a couple months this item began to leak oil. Buying a better brand to replace this unit.

Small heater for small space
I bought this for a small powder room that is drafty. While the seasons are still changing, I've already been able to use this and it is serving me well. I doesn't have an on/off switch but the thermostat serves as that purpose. Otherwise it seems to be a decent product.

Not very warm
I was really relying on this space heater to get me through the winters since my old one died. The heat output on this is VERY low, however, and it doesnt do a good job of heating my office when it gets very cold outside. I have had other small space heaters that have done a much better job than this one. It also doesn't have any kind of automatic shut off so you have to be careful. It DOES however make a little squeaky noise every now and again which helps to remind us that it's on so we can turn it off. It doesn't seem to suck up that much power - which is not surprising since it has a low heat output - so the powerbill is down a little bit, but to be honest I'd rather have a higher powered space heater that I had to run for less time that sucked up more power and actually heated my room.

It’s not a marathon runner. It will eventually heat up.
I decided to buy the black model to warm up the bathroom in our travel trailer because there’s only one furnace vent on the far side by the bed and I hate being cold when I want to shower or use the restroom. This works great for that purpose and I love that you can leave these heaters on for long periods and they are safer compared to other types of other heaters. I read in one of the reviews that theirs made a rattling noise like something was loose inside, mine did too but I found out that it’s the mechanical safety device inside that turns the unit off it it tips. Another complained how it took 2 hrs to warm a room up from 61 to 69 degrees, but didn’t mention the room size, how well insulated the space is, etc. The unit gives off nice heat for it’s size but it’s not going to instantly warm the space. It’s small, safe and energy efficient which means it’s trade off is its going to be slow and its not going to miraculously warm a large drafty room with poor weather stripping, single pane Windows and old thin insulation if it has any at all. So, think about your needs and if your expectations out of this unit is realistic. I hope this helps!

A waste of money!
When I spend money on a product that should last at least 5 or more years, this heater is the worst. I used it for 4 months in the winter season then put it away until this season. Plugged it in, turned it on and it did absolutely nothing. This heater was a waste of money. Do not waste your money on this product!
