I have MTHFR 1298c and 677T one copy from my mom and one from my dad. Stress is a killer and I have had more than my fair share. I find if you store these individually in a plastic pill case then they will start to discolor and even some will begin to "bleed" a pink liquid substance (yuck!) which I do not know if they are safe to use at that point. I believe either the humidity or ambient light may react with the contents of the capsule.
