FAKE: DON'T BUY (if you actually want to clean up the oceans, that is!)
This came from China, and it's fake. Looking at the listing again, it says "4Oceans" with an "S" at the end. Sneaky! The charm is cheap, probably just painted when metallic coating, and it's on a jump ring. The authentic bracelet I bought directly from 4Ocean website, has a nice stainless steel charm attached without a jump ring. The packaging for the authentic bracelet is a little canvas bag with "handmade in Bali". This is full of wasteful packaging. If you buy this, you're adding to the trash in the oceans: ironic, huh? So anyway, I'm probably gonna "upcycle" this knockoff by using it's thread to fix the knot clasp on my authentic bracelet. That's one drawback to this style of bracelet (real or fake): the knot that makes the adjustable "clasp" comes undone easily and needs to be either super glued or lightly melted at the ends and then pressed. And I wasn't sure where to get matching cord, but here it is, so thanks, random Chinese company! I'll probably be reporting them to Amazon anyway... Though I have no idea what they'll tell me. Luckily it was only 20 bucks.Photo 1: the real bracelet on my wrist. Note the darker stainless steel charm, attached without a jump ring. Everything else, I give the faker credit for, as I can barely tell the difference!Photo 2: the fake bracelet, with jump ring and fake shiny "silver" painted charm.Photo 3: the real packaging (canvas bag: more eco friendly, I'm guessing)Photo 4: all the fake packaging (what a waste of trees!)So if you actually care about the environment and don't just want an empty fashion statement, buy from the 4Ocean website.

Ensure this is from 4Ocean
This product came from China in terrible packaging and it's clearly different than 4Ocean bracelets I've had in the past.I'm going to keep these ones because they're conversation starters, but BUYER BEWARE...go directly to 4Ocean's website.

disappointed
I think its a worthy cause but I would have preferred it being delivered in a paper bad instead of a plastic one. I thought the whole purpose was to eliminate plastic from the earth.

Too good to be true
I liked the bracelet until it broke after 3 months. After being in contact with the real 4Ocean, I’ve found out this is not an authentic bracelet. Very disappointed in Amazon letting the seller falsely advertise.

Not sure!!!! Just defect I believe
I love these bracelets and what they stand for. I’ve got 3, however this one came unraveled in less that 2 days of wearing and will not stay tight. Not worth the trouble to return. I just think this one was defective!! ;(

I think the cause is great and justifys the means. So a cheep bracelet is ok . But also should actually have recycled bracelets that areNice enough to let my kid ware it.
