Oranurse 50ml Unflavoured Toothpaste (Pack Of 12)

I have autism and have had sensory issues with toothpaste all my life. Anything that I could ever handle flavor-wise didn't have flouride, and flouride toothpaste is the only thing that keeps me from getting cavities. This toothpaste is amazing it is just like brushing with water (there's a slight textural thickness to it but that's unavoidable). My mouth still feels clean afterwards. There's no burning, no bombardment of mint, no foam running down my face. Exactly what I've been looking for

I have been looking for a foam free and flavor free toothpaste that also has ingredients to protect enamel. The two don’t seem to align in oral care products, but this one is great.

This unflavored toothpaste leaves my mouth fresh and clean without an unpleasant mint after taste. And I really appreciate the absence of foaming agents that make one look like a rabid dog while brushing.

Exactly as described. I have flavor sensitivities specific to toothpaste. I don't have a formal diagnosis of spectrum disorder but do have ADHD. No idea why regular toothpaste is so unappealing, but this absolutely has increased my brushing.

Unflavored, yes. But the non-foaming is important too. Fluoride you receive depends on the amount of any toothpaste used. It is comfortable to use more non-foaming. Presumably its 1450 ppm fluoride (U.K. labeling) would be equivalent to a more common U.S. labeling of 0.145 %. Which is fine IF that's w/v fluoride ION, but that is not clear. 50ml/ tube = 1.69 fl oz per tube: small. To compare U.S. prices, e.g. Dr. Bob's, my rough estimate is (2.6- 0.5)= 2.1 oz per tube by weight. A statement by the manufacturer about this would be helpful. Came "Royal Mail" from the U.K., in acceptible time. No tracking number was available. Because it is non-foaming, it takes some getting used to vs. foaming brands. Hard to sense, how much is in your mouth. And perhaps it would be easier to swallow some inadvertently, although not a problem for me. My eccentric adaptation is to put mostly OraNurse on a toothbrush, and add just a touch of Biotene to make it all more familiar. Cheers

I had high hopes for this after reading all of the good reviews; being unable to tolerate mint or citrus flavors, finding an unflavored one that also has fluoride is very rare indeed! I was a bit hesitant because the second ingredient is Hydrated Silica which is an abrasive, but decided to try this anyhow. Yes it does not have added flavoring BUT it is also very very drying - so much so that my tongue and the inside of my cheeks began to almost burn as soon as I began using it. My tongue felt as if I had eaten or drunk something that was too hot: almost a 'burned' feeling. I completed one brushing and then repeatedly rinsed my mouth with cool water but my tongue and cheeks felt irritated for the entire rest of the day. Clearly, I cannot use this toothpaste. I checked with my dental hygienist about the ingredients and she said that hydrated silica is considered a microbead and definitely can damage enamel and skin tissue. She asked me whether this is a 'whitening' toothpaste and I said no, it's not advertised as such. She then expressed great surprise that a non-whitening toothpaste would have hydrated silica as its second ingredient rather than further down (indicating a lower percentage of the total ingredients). Strongly advised me to stop using it, so it is being returned immediately. If it had been possible to buy just one tube as a try-out, I would have done that and simply thrown it away but unfortunately here it is 'buy either a dozen or none.' Thank goodness for Amazon returns!

Sometimes flavored toothpastes (like mint), will burn my tongue, probably due to my autoimmune conditions. Luckily, I came across this OraNurse toothpaste in an ad - read all the positive reviews and decided to try it. For a condition I didn’t realize was so prevalent, this was the perfect solution. No more burning, not even a little bit! My new forever friend!

My son hated every toothpaste we tried. He particularly detests the taste of mint. Oranurse is the only toothpaste he'll use. We even bring it to his dentist visits. Great for kids with sensory issues.

This is the only toothpaste my son will use, as it is a non-foaming formula. Arrived quickly and the bulk pack is the best value available for Oranurse.

We have been using this for several years. It is the only toothpaste my kiddo tolerates. Either this or no toothpaste because every other toothpaste tastes like mint and she cannot stand it
