Revlon Matte Lipstick, Mauve It Over, 0.15 Ounces (Pack of 2)

This is a great quality matte lipstick that does not dry out my lips like other brands. It glides smoothly and very pigmented. I decided to purchase after watching a makeup artist blogger Lisa Eldridge and fell in love with her tutorial. I love the natural nude look that she does. However, I found this Mauve It Over color seems too orangy for me. I might have to mix with a nude lipstick to tone it down. I will try Nude next time. But I am very happy with the price and quality, will purchase other color as well.Update on my previous review:I finally found the best way to wear this pigmented lipstick. I use my finger to dap my lip after applying the lipstick. It helps blending in the lipstick smoothly and soften the color. Now, I have the perfect almost nude but a little hint of coral lipstain on on my lips!! I really love this look and I am wearing it everyday!!

Not the same colour, feel it’s a copy but selling as original.

This is my favorite all time shade and it hasn't been in stores for a while so I typically order two. I have slightly olive skin, but am a light tan in the winter and this lipstick always looks right with my coloring. I'm growing tired of the sticky, glossy or very metallic shades out there. This is a matte plain and simple. When ut gets dry, I simply use Burt's Beezwax over it and it's good to go once again. Once again, this order arrived quickly as always with amazon.

I got this lipstic as a dupe for velvet teddy from MAC. I'm loving this color. One application just make lips look natural and 2 to 3 applications make it look like the same velvet teddy shade. I wear it all the time. My lips r sensitive n often chips n track with other brands. I was nervous to try something other than an expensive brand but I hv no issues with this Revlon lipstic (mauve it over)

Close to the original. It broke very fast but the color is still very nice. I would buy it again.

This is my favorite lipstick! The color is the perfect shade of red that goes with everything, not to dark not to bright. The fact that this is a matte it great. It ddoesn't melt or bleed. It fades in the center a little faster then iI would like but overall a great product!

The lipstick is not the one pictured (which is the one I wanted) and is not matte, its actually super shiny and a lot more purple, less red than the lipstick pictured (I know because I own the one pictured).

The best color for Indian skin.. Looks good on tan skin/ brown skin.... Also looks great on lighter skin that goes without saying!
