I bought this to start morning glory and moonflower seeds indoors ahead of spring. It is easy to assemble and use. The seeds (now plants) have responded well and are growing sturdy. Leaves have a bit of a purple tinge, indicating that the light is quite strong. Highly recommended.

Literally the best grow lights. I’ve ever had much cheaper on Amazon and they are at Home Depot.

I have 4 and they do a great job. Great for a starter garden.

I really wanted to like this grow light, but I was really disappointed at the quality of the legs. They are very wobbly and feel like thin, fragile plastic which will break easily. It’s way too high of a price to pay for that.I ended up returning it within days after watching it wobble whenever the table it was on was bumped even slightly.The light itself might be great if you hang it, but I need a stand that is steady. This rating is based strictly on the poor quality of the legs, not on the light itself.

The legs are a bit wobbly but have not broke yet on my first Black Magic light so I bought a second one here on Amazon. The quality of the light is very functional and you just can't go wrong with LED lights . You can have the canopy of your plants near touching the light and your plants will not burn.

I agree with other reviews here that there is not much information about the lights. It is very bright but it doesn't bother me when I'm working with my plants. It does not emit heat and it is quiet. I mainly chose this because of how it looks. I initially use it with the stand but it scorched my Basil tops and they turned brown when I had it on the flimsy stand ( yes, for the price, the stand is flimsy so use with extra caution ), so I opted to use the string hanger it came with.I wish at this price point it should have came with a timer and a switch at the very least.The plug gets really hot so we had to use a power surge extension for safety. I might try this out for a little bit more time and see if it does help grow my plants and update this review.so far, about a week use, I haven't seen any dramatic changes in my plants except for the burnt tips on my basil.

I bought ten of these. That’s how good they are. See photos for happy plants! I have these on wire rack shelves, attached with zip ties, end hanging from Vivosun ratchet pulleys. All of this is contained in a Vivosun grow tent. Had I purchase the Vivosun products first, I would have gone with their grow lights and been happy, but these have been just great too. They put out very little heat and quite a bit of light. I would absolutely recommend these to a friend or family member, and will likely purchase more of them for myself

It’s kind of wobbly but as long as you don’t bump into it, it’s fine. Very bright light which I love. MUCH better than my old 30 year old grow light with one fluorescent lightbulb. Very easy to adjust in height. Have it plugged into a secure timer and I left plenty of room around it as others said the plug gets hot. No problems with it so far but just germinating seeds with it so far. We shall see!
