You only pay for shipping to return it, and they say that they are returnable if they stop functioning correctly for any reason. I’m not sure if that includes the frame breaking due to strong wind, but they say it’s supposed to be able to withstand 90% of strong winds, and for the remaining 10%, the umbrella may turn inside out, but it’s built not to break and should be able to be pulled back to its normal shape. If that a “function” of the umbrella, damage due to high winds should be a legitimate reason for a replacement. Note that Davek did not say “return for a refund,” but only for replacement.
