No more glare !!
I have had this vidor for years and I love it, can't live without it nowSeeing your G.P.S. Screen in the sun is so much easier and it also helps contain the light from screen at night so that windshield reflection does not blind youVery easy to use just pinch it open up like pacman and slip over top of GPS then springs hold it tight it has Velcro strip with adjustable visor to stretch it out even more if needed. It's pretty durable too I had one for years until I dropped it and stepped on then cracked it so I got a new one. The most recent one I purchased was a Christmas gift for my Father to put in his tractor trailer after he commented on it being cool. He know loves it too !//

Best ever EVER costumer support!
Best Costumer support ever at Amazon, or any other mail order - read why - I ordered this item, and when I received it it was the wrong size. I answered the sellers email by telling them it looked like a great product, but it was the wrong size. "You purchased this item on May 17, 2016." Anyway, it was MY MISTAKE ! But the seller offered to send me the right size for my Garmin Nuvi 2598 ... for FREE with NO SHIPPING CHARGE! - and I do not have to pay to return the WRONG ONE I ORDERED - will donate to church charity sale. If you think I own stock in this company, email me at [email protected] - I am a retired Air Force Officer (20 yrs), and a retired Airline pilot, 19 years. Want to hear more..? AS A FLIGHT SAFETY INSTRUCTOR, I must tell you that a dim or hazy screen will take you a bit more to interpret than one that has a shade - plus being old, takes me longer.. So, dirty screen, no shade, 70 mph... you (while you look at the screen for only one MORE second (2 seconds total, will travel 102.667 feet per second) so 2 seconds is 205.33 ft.. an average car length is 177.3 ft, so you just lost over one car length of safety distance - for only one extra second.

Received this unit on time in excellent condition. When I opened the boz was quite impressed with its size, it replaced an old garmin that was completely out of date. The first thing I noticed is the lack of battery time. One hr is really not enough. The second thing is I could not install the mount on the ball of of the window mount. I had the beanbag dash mount and it installed on that ball mount with no problem. So the suction ball window mount is useless. My old gps was easier to enter a route to navigate as you could alter the route to your liking. I put a route in from Florida to Mass. No tolls & fees because I didn't want to go thru Washington DC, the NJ Pike, NY. And it added over 400 miles to the trip. I like going up thru the mountains with 1 toll, but that setting is just too rigid. And this unit has no alternate routing that I could find my old unit did. Kinda miss that feature. This unit came with a car charger but no charging cord to charge in the house or on my PC, just another added charge. It does have the traffic when you purchase the traffic charger & traffic combo. Have checked the reviews & not sure if I will purchase that, lotta negative reviews on that feature altho there are no subscription fees for this service., but lotsa complaints on the recieving of satelite reception. Might consider it as I live in Florida and the reception doesn't seem to be an issue here. My old unit didnot have that feature. I am still learning what this unit can do do so some of my issues may not be the problem I am facing. Upgrading was a breeze it took about 1.5 hrs. This is a very good GPS for the price, so I feel safe to recommend that you should purchase. My only major complaint is battery life... Not good. Screen size Excellent, some features missing but can be available for purchase.

Poorly engineered. Would not recommend
I have to wonder if anyone had actually used this in a truck. The rear clamp covers the power button and the top section restricts the tilt ability. I will not put my GPS at eyeball height blocking my view of the road just so I can see the screen. My solution was to get out my RotoZip. I cut off the right side of the rear clamp so I could access the power button and cut the top left portion of the clamp handle so my GPS will now tilt. The hinge is located in the same area but I managed to clip off enough to get slight tilt which is just enough for my F-150.Overall, this is a product I have wanted for a long time and have wasted my money on other useless eyebrows and mounts. If the people who designed this had put it on a 2797 or mounted it in a newer car (where the windshields are usually more sloped), they probably could have made the mods I had to do. If this had come "finished", it would have earned 5 stars from me and a recommendation to buy.

Good Product, no major complaints
Very good Visor for the 7" 2757 GPS. As good as the ChuangYi Sun Shade Visor that I was forced to buy in order to meet the new free shipping $49.00 amount instead of the old $35.00. But it's good to buy two similar items since the vicious Southern Californian sun might disintegrate the plastic material of both sun shades in the long run. There's one thing needed to be improved. The thin black rubber lining glued on the back frame of this visor moved out of place, it would make the viewing screen not in a perfect rectangular shape, because the rubber lining glue failed to glue firmly on the back of this plastic frame. But with rubber lining is a very thoughtful idea that would hold the shade in place better than the other visors without such rubber lining, the dilemma is how to make the glue on the rubber lining stay in place once applied and attached on the visor's back in order not to deform the screen into some irregular shape.

works great
When I put this on my RV gps it looks like it has a little hat on. The GPS seems happy with it and keeps the sun out of its eyes.

Size of screen
It has a good sized screen and while I have not used the "shade" I know it will come in handy as it will allow the screen to be seen better in sunlight. Good value for the money.

Cheap piece of plastic DO NOT BUY
Can't return this now as I was away and the return policy has expired, so it's going right into the trash.Doesn't fit the gps steady enough without falling half off just normally driving. Plastic hinge pin broke as soon as it came out of the box, put metal pin in and tried to tension the spring, but that's garbage too. Just save your money and don't buy this. This should be sold at the dollar store, and if I looked hard enough I'm sure it's on the shelf there somewhere.
