Works great- simple to use- Looks nice- I bought to keep in my mother assisted care room- She loves toast/pop tarts about any time of the day-- It is small enough to store easily, far more than the huge 4 slicer- I've been carrying back & forth with no place to store to leave-Nice length cord- It does/storing- get hot- You need to use it in a place where it can cool off before moving- - I'd recommend for quality & price- Very pleased- -

We bought this to replace our $30 toaster (lasted 4 years), and found it to work well. I think my biggest concern is that it is hot to touch on top once in use. I have several times accidentally almost burned myself when pulling toast out. I'm afraid not to others when I have them in the kitchen. As far as the performance job, it does very well. I'm happy with how it has browned (not burned) toast. I don't anticipate this lasting long, but who knows, I may be surprised? It does feel cheap, but I also got it for a good deal. Hoping it last a couple years!

Toaster is working great. No issues. Toasts the bread like a toaster should.

Does NOT toast both sides equally. Have to turn bread around n retoast; meaning twice the time n twice the electricity. Plus u gotta babysit the second round of toasting so it doesn't burn. Other than that (which to me is huge ciz a toaster has n one job - to toast) its a good toaster. I like the separate "cancel" button so u can eject toast withoiloosing your preferred toast setting. I LOVE that it has wide slots and a crum catch tray (lack of a crum catcher is why I replaced my previous toaster which still works fine.) I give this toaster a 2.5 out of 5 because it doesn't adequately do it's number one job; toast bread properly.

This toaster is the best I've had yet. My family doesn't usually spend a lot on toasters (think $15 walmart toaster) but I finally had enough one day. I was trying to toast a bagel for my mom and the toaster we had was a few days away from offing itself. It would only toast on one side and I had to hold the handle down to toast it. The handle also didn't lift up so we could grab english muffins or mini bagels out. Often when I visited my parents, my dad had to unplug the toaster so he could pull something out with a fork. After all of this I got frustrated and began my search for a new toaster. I didn't want a fancy touch screen or one that popped toast aggressively enough to hit the floor, but I wanted it to WORK. This one is amazing! There isn't a battle to get the handle down, the heat settings are accurate, and I can safely toast mini bagels without issues. I'm actually writing this review months after purchasing and my parents still love it. Every time one of us uses it we still bring up how awesome it is compared to past toasters.

This is the worst toaster I've ever used. It never toasts anything. It always stays like warmed soft bread. The darkness controls are loosey-goosey and useless, yet apparently every micromillimeter is important: At 1 hair before #4, the bread isn't even browned at all, just warm & soft. At #4 exactly, one side is browned, but not the other, and it's still just warm & soft (not toasted). At 1 hair past #4, one side has crunchy charred black edges, the other is nicely browned, but it's still just warm & soft (not toasted). You can't raise the # enough to get it truly toasted when it's charring at 1 hair past #4. I went the cheap route this time, and I got what I paid for. All the controls are flimsy. All the materials are dollar-store quality. It feels like a (cheap) toy. I expected more from Hamilton Beach, but they've deteriorated. I've learned my lesson here. I doubled my toaster budget to get one that actually toasts the bread.

I like the Hamilton Beach 2 slice toaster. It has a dial setting, I can set it and be certain the toast is done to my preference, initially I stood next to it to make sure it didn't overcook, burn, or catch my toast on fire; you can lift up on the handle to bring the toast up or press the release button under the handle to bring the toast up. The user manual says not to put Pop Tarts in it so I don't.

Me gusta es muy práctica la tostadora, y caben bagels solamente que el termostato no es muy bueno en el 1 ni tuesta el pan lo deja blanco y en el dos ya lo quemo de un lado, lo tengo en medio y se me hace latoso.

La calidad del tostador es buena, tiene varias opciones para regular la temperatura y tostado del pan, muy funcional y a buen precio
