Arthur Bryants Original BBQ Sauce (18 Ounce)

People crying "it's too salty". Go eat your vinager water. It is salty lol. But perfect. Wouldn't change it. So good!

I ordered after watching a video of the restaurant. The food looked very good. I got the sauce. Lable was good and came in a glass jar. The sauce was not to my liking at all. It tasted like is was spoiled.. Im glad I taste tested before putting on my ribs. I would not recommend this.

I purchased this BBQ sauce because it was made famous in 2 episodes of the TV Show Ted Lasso. While it tastes "good", there is absolutely no sweetness to it. Traditional BBQ sauce has a sweet taste, and various levels of "kick" - this one has a bit of kick, but not sweet at ALL.

I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the bottle I got or if this is the normal taste of the product, but it tasted like someone had emptied an entire spice rack into the bottle. I adore spice but this was overwhelming and, to me, tasted nothing like BBQ. I hear it's very popular though so, to each his own I supposed.

Liked for a change of pace from my usual KC Masterpiece Original bbq sauce This is savory, not sweet. Excellent flavor and allows the meat flavors to come through.

Unlike traditional barbecue sauces, Arthur Bryant's original vinegar based sauce is rich in spices and deeply savory without a hint of sweetness. It doesn't follow the pack and makes no excuses for it's truly unique and tangy flavor which can be an acquired taste. The first time I tried it was when I was given a bottle by a friend originally from KC who loved it so much that he would have the sauce regularly delivered to him in AZ. I'll be honest.. at first I didn't know what to make of the sauce. I checked the bottle to make sure it wasn't some kind of steak sauce and I just let it sit there in my fridge. Then, I decided to give it another chance and I found that this barbecue sauce added a wonderful dimension of flavor to my barbecue and I eventually became hooked. I entered a whole new world of flavor in the land of smoked meats. You can taste an intense, earthy spiciness in a mild vinegar base. This was never meant to be a sauce for the masses. But for those who love Arthur Bryant's truly unique signature sauce, nothing else comes close.

Great sauce. It’s a little edgy for some people but addictive.

Bought for a gift, hard to find in the UK. It has a distinctive flavour of mustard seed some may not go for but if you like it it's truly unique.

Not your regular barbecue sauce. A whole new level. Very, very good.
