GREAT FUN
There are no more files in our house. Works will., is tough to cock, but shoots salt very well and get the files in one shot.

Good to have.
I was surprised when this thing did not come with a battery. It is like a water gun, but with Salt. Kills flies and ants, but not roaches. The orange color makes it easier to find, and if you are traveling through TSA, it's easier to explain that it's not a real weapon. It's easy to use with its shotgun pump action and easy to refill with table salt. Very handy to use, and the safety lock is very reliable.

My Bug-Terminating Game Just Leveled Up!
I’ve been a fan of the BUG-A-SALT for a while and absolutely loved my previous model. This new Orange Crush 3.0 is a fantastic upgrade — more power, better accuracy, and overall improved performance. On day one, I had over 20 successful “KIAs,” which made it not only effective but also a lot of fun to use! It’s a clever and practical way to take care of pests right in your AO. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and satisfying pest control solution!

Fun to have, if you like taking out bugs, but take note, the flies/bugs won't like you... LOL
This is actually a lot of fun, especially if you find that you have a bunch of flies in your house or RV. It works well, especially if you are within about 3ft of your winged or six legged victim. I gave it 4 stars, because it think its a bit pricy for what it is, but it is built solid & well. Just remember that if you leave salt in the hopper, & you leave the gun in an area with high humidity, the salt will get clumpy. You can still use it, but I noticed it works better with fresh salt. They sell salt for it, but any fine grain table salt will do fine & be less expensive. Also, don't use this for take our a wasp nest... maybe an individual wasp is OK, but not a nest... and NEVER aim at anyone's face or person! ;-)

Flies dont stand a chance!
This is the best money I've spent for anything in a long time. If flies are a problem in your house then dont bother with any kind of home zapper. Get this tool and sweep your house and send all the flies to bug hell. Nothing puts a smile on my face more than seeing the flies die as I shoot a load of salt in their face and whole body. I've seen flies basically explode and drop like...well flies. If you're worried about getting salt all over your house, dont. Its a tiny amount that it shoots and who knows, maybe you will keep all the demons away too. We use a little portable vacume to clean up the dead flies and the salt which isn't that much. If you like hunting and hate flies then buy this. You will not be disappointed. ** I will give one tip which is dont leave the item locked and ready. From my experience with all spring and piston bb guns ive owed is that will damage the spring and not make it as powerful.

This is my rifle...
Got flies? Hate swatting them and making a mess? Then you need a Bug-A-Salt. I have to honestly say that I WAS NOT reluctant to buy this because of the price. Is it relatively expensive? Yes it is...if you only think of it as a fly killing toy. When I first saw this on the Bug-A-Salt website, I immediately knew it would be effective (the videos do a great job of showing it in action). When I received it, I was even more impressed because the materials and construction are much better than I expected. I guess I expected something built like a Nerf dart gun. However, the Bug-A-Salt's plastic feels much sturdier (thicker) and the construction feels much more solid (no flex). This thing is an engineered tool of destruction...to the fly population. That initial sticker shock? It didn't seem so bad now. Loading the ammo (unjacketed, several thousand grain Morton's iodized salt) further demonstrated the high-quality build. The lid for the salt compartment felt very precise in its operation and closed so securely that I knew it wouldn't leak. Sticker shock decreasing even more. When it came time to deploy to the battlefield, I felt like the flies didn't stand a chance and that was the case. Say hello to my little friend. Cocking the rifle does require a good amount of strength, which feels less like a Nerf dart gun and more like an air rifle, which further reinforces that this is not a toy. The safety works great so you don't have to worry about any misfires (I don't recommend storing it cocked-and-locked though). The trigger action could be a little smoother and refined. You expect the trigger to pull straight back (because it looks like a single-action 1911 trigger) but it actually pivots like a traditional trigger which causes an ever-so-slight pinching of the finger. Be prepared for a very strong release of the ammo when the trigger clicks. It happens so quickly that the fly you were targeting disappears so suddenly. That's the only real drawback of the Bug-A-Salt...now I have to go looking for the victim. It will travel a good distance if you're shooting against an open range. This is truly effective and I only have to say is, "why didn't I know about this sooner?" Oh yeah, that sticker shock? Gone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So much fun and it really works
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So much fun and it really works This thing is way more fun than I expected. It works great and hits bugs with no problem. The salt they sell for it works perfectly too. I even use it sometimes to scare away cats from the yard without hurting them. If you really want to get the most out of it, get the laser that goes with it. It makes aiming easier and adds a lot more fun to using it. This is one of those products you do not realize you need until you try it.

We recently got our hands on the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 and we're absolutely loving it! As a family that loves camping, we're always on the lookout for new gadgets to make our outdoor experiences more enjoyable. The Bug-A-Salt 3.0 is basically a high-tech salt gun that allows us to blast insects out of the air with ease. It's so much fun to use and has become a staple in our campsite arsenal. My kids (ages 7 and 9) love it almost as much as we do – they'll spend hours trying to hit individual mosquitoes from a distance. One thing that really impressed me about this gadget is how well it works. We've been able to blast away even the smallest insects with ease, and it's actually helped us sleep better at night because there are fewer bugs buzzing around our tent. Another great feature of the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 is its portability. We can take it on hikes or pack it in our backpack for day trips without taking up too much space. The only thing that might be a drawback for some people is the price – at $50, it's definitely an investment. However, if you're like us and love camping or spending time outdoors, I think this gadget is well worth the cost. It's brought so much joy to our family and has become a fun activity we can all enjoy together. It's fun, effective, and easy to use – what more could you ask for?
